Front and rear roundels are getting replaced & the m badge removed once we have the car in the new owners name on the papers. Then we are selling it after a few other bits are tidied up. At this stage we are only concentrating on the WOF issues to get this sorted.

This week

The owner has gone back to Hong Kong. We are doing the WOF repairs and have sorted the rego issues out. Then there are a couple of other small issues that need to be attended to then it will be offered for sale. Because of the rarity, we might offer it off shore as well. I am sure this would be one of the best examples in the world let alone in NZ

For the eagle eyes....yes...we are replacing the leaking shocks and the slight leak from the diff pinion seal.

That will be the regulator or slide clips doing that on an E36

----- According to a news report, a certain private school in Wellington was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls had begun to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night the maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the maintenance man who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses). To demonstrate how difficult it was to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the Girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it. Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror. There are teachers.... and then there are educators

I was just being a smart arse...I've had it up to 180kph in 4th and 200kph in top and then got a little worried about getting caught .... and I had a screaming handbrake sitting next to me.... another time maybe ??

If you go the real cheap way...you could end up doing it twice. Use new shocks and do it once properly....for safety and peace of mind.

Thats normal on a coupe. You have to close the door and do a window reset. You hold the switch in the up position for 10 secs after it has closed and do the same in the down position

Did you guys know, that there were only 135 R/H drive versions of this car ever made ?? (so I was told today) I would say this cars worth probably more than 50K

Its not straight forward, but it can be done. You need to research it properly and it cant really be done without spending quite alot of $$$$
