Imagine this. You're Mike Eady, lapping you little heart out in your Civic Type R having a good old ding dong battle with someone else in his hot hatch and then Hans Stuck blasts past you in his GTR!! I still marvel at the ability for these guys to remain focussed for 2 hour stints behind the wheel. The concentration levels required to keep a car at the limit and on the road while all around you, Joe Bloggs is working on keeping his car on the road, is amazing. Great car, great race footage. I don't recall off the top of my head, but I think it was the same as the RS4 with 100km/h at 12 o'clock and then the reduced graduations for the second half of the dial. I wasn't concentrating on the speedo at the time, more the rapidly approaching Corolla and Daniel in my peripheral vision grabbing the grab handle above him. The top speed may have just had a 2 in it though.

So it's the same thing if you're downchangiong on a non-synchro box while braking (90% of the time). Nothing confusing about it at all. I'll beat you about the head with a large blunt object about this over a beer on Thursday!

I have had that news before too and it's bloody devastating. Luckily for me I have recovered to the point where guys like Gus entrust me with their Turbo's and don't seem too worried I feel the owners pain, but at the end of the day, it's no good to him sitting in the garage and $80k won't sell it.

Took a visit there today, here's some of the better cars IMHO. Don't really agree with the Rota E30, but really well done. Everyone there was super approachable, nice feeling to the whole event. Thumbs up to the organisers.

The only info I can add is that if you are going to run Windows Vista, you need a minimum of 2GB ram.
