Saw that, auction still closed with no bites though

Bugger, missed out on taking that to Pauanui. Had to settle for the Porsche Boxter S instead!! Amazing how much sex a bottle of Moet gets you
-
Thanks, not bad.
-
Cool, can I borrow your car then
-
There ya go, marketing doesn't work!

And we got to know Gus a bit better, he smells bad! (Just jokin)

The forum clock hasn't been right for months!

Great write up, thanks for the effort. Where do you work? Got any Z4's available for the weekend to a very mature bimmersporter who is off for a dirty weekend in the Coromandel?

The Mother in Law, and not as a "body"

Haha, I was wondering how long it would take for you to swallow, hook, line and sinker!! I thought you would be more at the $20k mark!

Smooth, quick and friendly. What we like to see in a driver.

Good on ya mate. If it ever happens again, just take a deep breath and his number plate

My Advice; Revenge is a dish best served cold. Easy to say, hard to do in the heat of the moment I know. Should have just go his rego number and then quietly found out where he lives and serve it up at a later date. Even a couple of times. Little screw drivers through the sidewalls of tyres a few times will get really anoying for him. When someone cuts me up on the road, I generally make sure they are looking at me and then blow them a kiss. Winds most blokes right up! I had a guy jump out of his car at me the other day, and although I'm a placid bloke, at 6'6" (but bloody skinny) when I jumped straight out of my car, he backed straight down.

Yep, Brent's on to it, E34 M5 motor, 3535cc, 236kW

Sounds as if the disks have just been machined. Takes up to 1000kms for the rings to wear out.

That's interesting. I know Bruce pretty well and bumped into him at the Motorsport show in Manakau last weekend. He didn't mention his car was for sale, but see it for sale here. I thought he planned to keep it.No, the car I refer to was bought by Adas Wolk off a guy in Huntly. Very tidy white English import.

I think Letterman did well to take as much piss out of her as he did without her walking off in tears
-
Yep, only M5 I think. If you wanted to go higher, I know an M5 in really good nick was recently purchased in NZ for $18k.

Not off the top of my head, there are better people on here to answer your questions. I had an E34 M5 and it was bullet proof, cost me nothing in 4 years ownership. Avoid self leveling rear suspension, works well, expensive to fix. If you like biggish cars, you can't go past the E34 for simplicity, reliability and power. A great car if you find one that has been well looked after. Not uncommon to have been to the moon and back though.

If it's the last of the E34s, then it's worth maybe $8-10k

7:32's pretty impressive. Too many tweeting birds though in the clip for my liking :gay:

If I ever finished the race car project AE86 Notchback I had, it would have flown, the potential was huge. 3SGE 2 litre with twin 45 Webers and fancy headers, T50 5 speed through 5.1:1 LSD. 190-200 BHP in 850kgs, geared for 120 miles per hour at 8000 rpm in 5th. Never got to finish it though. Is apparently back rallying now through Chris Ramsay Motorsport out of Hamilton.
