Whats SSTT ? 12's is a very quick car. Though note that any NZ strips are way slower than USA. It's kind of weird that the 335i could have far more tuning potential than the m3, due to the fact its turbo.

Well actually, it would be a close call. The main reason I wouldn't is that a version 1,2,3 or 4 STI (and the equivalent Evo's) are all pretty much the same pace as the newer ones that would be in a similar price range to an m3. Realise that BMW will likely say it is sweet. That doesn't mean future issues are not going to come up. Not trying to put you off, but a whole lot of people on here know the e30 burn. Don't be naive about a 20 year old car is all I am saying.
