It's like a e46 lip spoiler, but not sure what it is - I doubt its OEM. I do like it also. I'm not so sure about the top spoiler, but its kinda hacked on and would be more effort to remove it than its worth.

    Referendum

I like the sound of SM. I think people will vote to keep MMP though.

You mean like box off the filter section right ? Not just a curved bit of metal? If there is a slight loss of power from heat soak and at low speeds I'd pay that price for the intake, vanos and exhaust sound bump. $50 it's a great upgrade, if your into this sort of thing. I am. West west.

I tried that, but it didn't make that much difference in my opinion.

I'm really stoked with a pod filter. Its sounds way better and has a nice VANOS 'howl' now.
  7. Sorry I have been away and the person this was for has already bought one. Please remove me thanks.

    WRX STi's

So I guess I'll just say it; you should have got a Beemer But seriously that sucks and I hope this secret mystery man can do something to help you. Worst case scenario you can flick it and take a smallish hit ? Update us how you get on.
  10. I don't really get these people moaning about NZ bureaucracy and that John Key should have done more etc. Obviously they have never lived in foreign countries because I can assure you they would be just as 'slow' or worse. I'm no John Key fanboy, but what was he expected to do?

Nice. Paint skirts? My mate had a Link computer in his standard WRX and it went hard and not far off an STi.

    New Toy!

Mint. Facelift 'verts are rare eh. Although Tech II kits can look sick, I also like no kit, just an IS lip. I reckon shadowline and back to chrome grill. Nice Burberry interior
  13. There are different options. Cheapest non remote version I found was $140 from the dealer. There's a plastic one that's cheaper but won't last as main Key. We should have group bought a cloning machine.

The bottom line is though, the iPhone is still the best overall smart phone experience for 90% of the population.

This was a total fail. Apple needed to change the design, and ideally make the screen bigger. It didn't have to be 'better' just different and I would have wanted and iPhone 5. iOS 5 is good, but that is going to run on 3GS. The new camera is nice, but the 4 camera was pretty good. I don't need 1080p video. I have had a few iPhones, WP7 and multiple android phones. Android is my choice for a few reasons: -intergration with apps is good (eg, if I open a web link where I have an app for that site, it will open the app automatically - iOS doesn't do this -google integration and cloud syncing (iOS 5 will do this) -ability to use 3rd part apps for core service like dialers, music player and SMS. -free navigation -4.3" screen if u want it. I like mango, but it's still a little immature. I would still recommend an iPhone to most people, but at the moment I'll stick to 2009's greatest - the HTC HD2. (dual boot both android and windows phone 7). Sent from my iPad
  17. I saw a sick mint gunmetal e30 m3 with a personalised plate in Kelston today. Anyone ?

Big end bearing failure is common and the gearboxes aren't that great. As above 02 sensors fail, (esp if you are using an unsecured pod filter). The STI is crazy fast, but along with the above ther is the fact you can't ever leave it anywhere and insurance could be an issue. Fuel millage is poor if you boost. I would only buy another one if it's was newer/very low km. But they are very quick cars that are fun to drive. Try and get a mechanical warranty perhaps ?

Chur chur, guys. No real plans for it, as the basics are done, but I may look at some new wheels for it, (stock evo m3, LMs, Style 5's? ) and maybe an airbox/filter (just for noise). Oh, you know the stock tail pipes, there were 'black' from factory right?

After a few years riding the train, I'm back in the game. Had a few bits and pieces done since I got this a couple of weeks ago; cooling system, resprayed bumper, some panel repair, 5 speed with short shifter, new head deck.
  22. Who is advising you against this, and why? Looks pretty straight, enjoy. You may be on the BMW crack pipe now
