Im liking this alot. Keen for weight specs. 300hp with light weight could be a dream.

Moon roof, on a black car, tinted would be cool

Insert Jammaster, "diamond encrusted gold platinum" comment. Thats a choice remember Grant. Im the same, both look good. The one that you haven't seen for the last 4 months will look the best.

That plays really well. Mix of Sonic and SMB elements.

nice. i quite like yellow, it fades though. how many kms on it?

I had Jamex and i was happy with them. Do the job, and maintain a resonable soft ride. You can obviously go for more extreme setups, but i had no issues with rubbing.

Reverse was the problem on my dad's one too. It used to p1ss out oil, from time to time when you reversed. BMWorkshop had it a couple of times to try and fix it. (They may have fwd it on to a specialist - not sure). I do know that there was issues in trying to fix it. May be worth getting their thoughts as they have some experience with them.

Bro that sux. Hopefully yours doesnt have the American made gearbox. My Dad's e46 has that, and they are a sealed unit, or something, and a real mission to fix. G/boxes have to be the rudest thing to break.

compusary insurance is the best 'official' idea i have heard. BTW Gus, Morans was intentional =)

Worst thing EVAR!

What about Japan? Their street racing scene looks pretty extreme, and seems to be little objection from the general population. (not that i am up with Japanese press). Self regulation is a great solution, in theory. Problem is most people are morans.

You lose you licence now for excessive speeding. The fines for excessive speeding are more than 'boy racers' can afford now. So if its $3k or $100k it makes no difference. You think people doing all this stuff stop and think, "oh ok, the possible punishment is not too bad so i'll do it" There's no way. They just do it. Why? Because it feels good I suppose. If 'heavy punishments' worked how come USA (with by far the biggest per capita prison population) still has crime? Surely the death penalty, (the heaviest punishment), should have wiped crime out? Of course it hasn’t. Like someone said, you cant outlaw fun. The only real solution is provide some controlled environment to do this stuff. There are way too many people who are passionate about cars, you will never stop it. (in the short term). I put this to you. What is the point in any car that can do more than 100km? Why are high performance cars even legal at all? Shouldn't all cars come with a factory restriction of 110km? There is no resonable argrument for allowing a high performance car on the road. Oh you can responsible use that 300hp? BS. Its for accelerating at a rapid rate, (illegal - you try a 0-100 sprint in a 100km area in front of a cop and see what happens), or going over the speed limit. Either provide a regulated environment to 'boy race', or outlaw/restrict any car that can go over 110km. The motor industry/lobby has too much power for high performance cars to be banned, but how long that will last im not sure. Make hay while the sunshines is what some people may say.

I hate the response 'in my day', it doesn't cut it. You cant stop this sht. Its like prohibition. The answer is control of it. They need places where you can go to 'rark it up'. Heavy punishments wont do sht. The media is a massive factor though. I mean "boy racing" isn't really that big a problem. One dude died, that sux, but its not like people are dying every weekend from it. The media lump in that party where people got run over with 'boy racing'. That guy was charged with murder. i.e. he intentionally tried to run people over. That has nothing to do with street racing at all. (If you argue 'youth culture - then extend it to the whole society's culture). Also how come if you're rich you cease to be a boy racer? Ie 'my' GTR skyline = boy racer but my GT3 Porsche = successful car enthusiast.
