I have techno- violet 540is in Silverdale not far from this ones old home in Gulf-harbour. Call by if you have time and are in the neighborhood when you pick it up. On another note, the no`s of these in NZ are lessening by the day. A silver 540 6spd has its motor and manual gear destined for an E30 racecar. Didn`t enter my calculations. Haven`t had the opportunity to 6 spd. a E30 yet ,though now I know it can be done...

13kg in the centre of the car down low - can`t be a bad thing.

2200rpm @ 100kph in 6th. How it gets there is awesome. ( eg. 4th to 5th at 140kph without any stress)

M Coupe 5 spd. to 6 spd. conversion. Info on the net pretty much said that the extra length of the 6 speed could not be accomodated. Proved wrong at Hellbm during a quite moment. Good stuff Glen. Two types of people in this world - Smokers and non- Smokers. Once your mindset exists as a non- Smoker it all becomes clear. Discard the terms quiting, giving up and ex (they`re likened to cutting a limb off, very painful). `Non Smoker` has a great feel to it. Regards Ray
