  1. ^^ The one bimmer that got me into E36's. Still love it to this day. You did a great job on it Jase.
  2. M3 Rims!!!! edit - obviously replica's though
  3. Emily, doubt thats anything suspicious. Was in the country/registered since February '93, doubt he did 96,000km in 6 months. Most likely just entered wrong, probably meant to be 06,000km. There's nothing wrong with a BMW as a first car, I was lucky enough to have that pleasure. But you want to get a good one, if you settle for a average one that hasn't been looked after that well then the expenses can start piling up. My 323 has cost me $100 is normal milage related wear (Control arm bushes) since ownership. Not bad! Good luck
  4. Looks great Simon. Definitely like them more then they Beyerns. Nice upgrade!

  6. What a surprise Such a mint M3 Dylan, sorry to hear that you must let it go. Keep track of it mate, the opportunity might come around to purchase it back one day.
  7. Dayum! Wasn't expecting that!
  8. Way overpriced. I got my pair for $100 and they're absolutely mint.
  9. This is a pretty common problem on manual E36's Jase. I had it for a while but luckily it went away. Hope that helps.
  10. Jase mentioned in the other thread he used dupli-colour flatt black. Repco at about $17. I use VHT Satin black vinyl and fabric dye which I used to to my door cards and now my parcel shelf and I assume it will have the same result. VHT is $15, savings are negligible.
  11. I'd be weary of having fogs as daytime running lights as it is illegal to have fogs on when its not foggy. Stupid law and nobody takes any notice of it. But if a cop does pull you over for it then I'd think you'd want to be able to turn them off.
  12. I don't know where you two got 'fabric in a can' because he said 'fabric paint in a can. If you get back far enough with the normal spray can you can do it alright without having noticable stripes.
  13. Sweet mate. The VHT stuff I got was satin, should still work allright I think.
  14. Great outcome man. Doing mine now too. The trays out of the car, just need to buy the paint. Out of interest, what paint did you use? I use the VHT Vinyl and Fabric Dye. Works mint.
  15. Looks great Glenn. Would love to dyno the 323 now that I have a proper Simota CAI. Would be interesting to see the difference between the CAI and the standard airbox.
  16. I'm sure I saw a bloke who looked suspiciously like Heath in a red Pug today (or was it yesterday?). Can't remember where either .

  18. I for one haven't been encouraged to write up any DIY's as once they're posted they get lost in all the other threads. I'm sure if there was a specific section then it would encourage people to post proper DIY's. There are quite helpful ones like angel eyes for e36 and e46 which I didn't bother to take photos or write up anything cause two people will say nice write up and then the thread will get lost, and lets be honest, the search function hardly works wonders. And as Mark mentioned, half the write ups on the net are for American cars and a lot doesn't apply over here. Also, wouldn't it be nice if Bimmersport had its own database of DIY's? Might get more traffic through the site.
  19. Can the mods clean up Marks thread? I feel like sh*t now for making it go off topic. And can we just have an indication if that idea is getting second thoughts so we can stop going on about it?
