+1. I had my eyelids for nearly a year before I actually put them on. They look stupid if you don't have angel eyes. I've got pictures before and after as well if you want to have a look Jase. The day I installed the angel eyes they eye lids went on 5 minutes after, they just narrow the ring down and make it look more aggressive as Atta said. They can look alright without but IMO it takes away all the aggressive look. I took mine off to repaint them once and the car IMO looked weird. It's all personal opinion! Btw, I don't think that picture does the angels/eyelid combo justice!

Have some '99 door cards and some '98 door cards. Both are secured just by really strong glue. Tried pulling the insert out but couldn't be bothered in the end, and I didn't want to damage it seeing it was mint.

Its all worth the wait guys! I got mine luckily before when Adam had a few in. They're the best strut braces you will find without going to extremes with Schnitzer and Hartge (etc.) braces. The prices are fantastic and the best part is they are one of the very few braces on the market which actually work (and I'm not kidding).

Kind of I guess. You have to weight it up, you can get a 540 for 7 or 8k so a 520 for that is alright. However buying a 5 series for less than 10k really asks the question of whether or not its been looked after that well.

I've been with Slingshot for over a year. A+ pretty much. Not one outage. Think we're on the $40 or $50 internet plan gives us a 6gb base. Then I buy blocks on top. $5 for 3gb, $10 for 10gb, $25 for 30gb, or $40 for 50gb. The best thing about slingshot adn I don't think any other provide does this is if you don't use all of your extra (bought) data then it transfers to the next month so you don't loose what you don't use. Don't use that much data really so its good for what I want.

Frikin easy to do too. Don't think i'd look that good on blue tho, suit darker colours a lot more.

E39 prices have dropped significantly in the last year or two. Remember it is trade in price so they will want to make a profit.

They're actually illegal in passenger cars. Only should be used on buses or commercial vehicles (Trucks, etc.)

A mates E39 540 got hit in the front. 12k+ quote from Precision Autowerks and the insurance company fixed it. They had to.

$315 for aftermarket is way overpriced IMO. You can have the clear rear lights I'm selling for $120. Pretty much mint. Find a pair of front corners on trade me for $50-$60 max, thats what I sold a pair of mine for 6 months ago. And looking at around the same for sides. Fronts were $40, sides were $50 and the rears were $100. All mint. Except I only look at genuine cause I've had bad experiences with aftermarket. My 2c.

Ok, Will be ordering this Thursday or Friday. And they should be with me by Monday. To recap. -- I can provide them straight black, unpainted, as in the pictures for $40 (For Bs members). -- Or I can provide them Pre-painted from the factory, as long as you provide the correct colour code, for $75. (For Bs members aswell). If you want a pre-painted one: If it gets to you and the colour is way out, I will refund etc, and try and get you a replacement or whatever is appropriate. But as all painters will say, a slight variation is possible. This could be due to the fading of the cars paints, degradation of the lacquer, etc. If you were looking to get one of these painted at a shop in NZ you'd be looking at around $120 just for the paint.
