Makes sense James. I guess it somewhat depends whether its going to be a dedicated track car or a road/track car. Yep, iS lips look the sh*t!Btw mate. Good luck. Can't wait to see any progress updates and of course the finished product. Will be a very nice car.

Happy Birthday!

IMO If you've got something special (In this case something extremely special) wouldn't you want a nice complete kit to match the rest of the car. Standard e30's look soo plain to me. If you're gonna bother with the s50 then a Tech II would match perfectly. I get the whole idea of a sleeper. But don't you want people to notice it from all the rest when it drives by? Especially with all the work thats going to be put into it. Maybe standard body if its only got a relatively standard engine, i.e. 2.7. Idk. I don't mean to offend anyone. Just my opinion. I think if you're gonna bother with a frikin S50! Then you'd want to make everything about the car special. Just my 2 cents.

e23, e32, e38 or e65?

Dayum!!! How do you get it sooo shiny! That is amazing mate.

Haha. Yea I haven't ordered mine yet. Going to get them for my BD.Will install them myself hopefully. Keen to help tho mate. Might offer a service or try to do a proper writeup. It might look a bit of a mission but the E46 ones are a lot easier to do than the e36. As the E36 requires you to silicon them onto the lens, e46 is just clip on.

Umnitza. Thats where i'm getting my kit. http://www.fastm.com/m3/angeleyes_chromium.html Its pretty easy. I'll be doing mine when they come. GL

E30's are 4x100. They are about ET20 +/-. Offset somewhat depends on the width, anything wider than 8 on the front and 8 1/2 on the rear is just overkill for a standard e30 and would require some guard work. Experts can chime in and correct me if necessary. Hope that helps. There are sh*t all nice wheels for e30 fitment out there.

http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/flooding-c...l-2741809/video Its actually really funny. Him driving (floating) across the road thinking he's allgood then this random mean ditch appears out of no where and he nose dives in.

I think a certain someone had a senior moment.

Yea, totally agree. Was stopped along Meola Rd in Pt Chev. All the cops were looking at the car and none managed to notice the german plates. Second block i've been through with them on. And the first one was intense. Haven't noticed yet. btw, car looks mint. Well done.

Totally agree Glenn. Thats the main reason I haven't put angel eyes in yet. Cause I don't want to put the cheap tm ones in and the Umnitza ones work out frikin expensive atm. C'mon exchange rate.
-
Looks fantastic Glenn! Some nice kit you have there. That bacon looks amazing!

Yea, Will's.Really nice, ^ has been on tm forever. Don't know why.

1 vote for the cosworth. I'd be heading down the M325 route if it had a few more extras, e.g. leather recaros etc. Merc seems to be alot of car for the money. But I would have no doubt gone the 2.7 over the cosworth. No doubt.

I've heard continuously over the last couple of years that the Bentley service manual is a lot better than the Haynes. Should help a lot more. Is 61MB, E34 Bentley Service manual. Chrome looks hot on the right rims. And right car for that matter.Exactly as a lot of people have said, Its all in the design of the wheel. And 95% of the time the design is horribly tacky. I'm all for the each to their own thing. People can do whatever they want with whatever they have. Although I cringe when I see a stock standard e36 316 sedan dragging its ass on the ground lowered on 19" chromes. Its not cool IMO. Looks soo tacky, looks soo cheap, looks so wannabe. I am 17 and I'm soo f**kin happy I not going through the chromie lowering phase! And to be honest, I laugh when I see one roll past. I find it quite amusing. EACH TO THEIR OWN. -
WTF! People fail!
