Go on then, tell me what he's really saying.

I've done a bit of German in High School so I understand a bit of it. The subtitles are completly different from the dialogue.

Just out of curiosity, what is the copper's frequency? Or does it change from town to town?
-
Wow! The E30 has the same rating as the 96-02 E-Class!!
-
It says somewhere that because he wants to enter it in concours, he'll have to replace all the "tarnished bolts in the engine bay."
-
Definately something he will not park at New World. 8000 Pounds on cleaner? Why didn't he just order brand new panels from the factory?

I'm sorry, but you couldn't be more wrong. Pre 2004 F150s are known notoriously in the US for being incredibly unsafe. They earned one star out of a possible four in the IIHS crash tests, for having a lovely crumple zone right where your knees are in the driver and passenger seats. The 2004 model year brought multiple improvements, but it is still scary thinking that such a big pickup (yes, i've ridden in one too) can be so unsafe. Watch this:

The body of the Fiat got pwned, however it looks like the occupants stayed resonably safe. The new Fiat 500 has got a 5 Star safety rating, so I wouldn't really hesitate owning one. We don't really need to be scared into buying large cars to be safe here, the vehicle on NZ roads are relatively small and thus you'd really only be truely stuffed if you hit a log truck. On the other hand, in the US every second car is a Chevrolet Suburban or something of similar size, so there is more 'need' for a safer car.

I've read a couple of write-ups on the conversion on American e30 forums. Sounds verrryyyy tricky and fiddly, and you need quite a few more parts than just the OBC + loom (temp sensor etc) Able to be done, if you have a lot of patience!!!!

If you want it soooooo bad, do a Carfax, get the owner's name and ring them. Easy.

Are they the UK plates under the NZ plates?
-
Awesome. Reminds me of that SRT Jeep Cherokee. Who wants to offroad in an SUV anyway.

The retards couldn't even colour-match the paint properly.

He had $6,990 on it when I was looking for a car about a year ago. Add the 'wheels' and he smacks $3K onto it.

One lady in Thames has her front number plate sign-written (!) in white letters around 2 inches tall on the black number plate holder on her e34 535i. I always see her driving it around town, so it must those lazy country cops?

Interior is different......

Did you try to accesss it from the "What's happening in the Forums?" box on the home page? Whenever new messages are posted in a thread in the moderator's forum it gets posted there - but only they can access it.
-
I thought that only happened when trying to access the Moderator's forum.

Yes Nokia are still making a very limited amount of CDMA phones.

That white Countach is seriously cool!

I just checked mine (on an '88 318i) and they are 24. They fit fine inside the guards and don't rub on anything.

We had the same problem in our Commodore tow car. Turned out a 'valve body' or something crapped out, so instead of changing to 4th at 2,500rpm changed at 5,000 (5,500rpm red line!) Was about $700 to get the 'valve body' replaced. Hopefully it's just something easy to fix! Transmission problems are never fun!

Tropical Countries - AKA No heater?

Thanks, but where would I get this stuff? Cheers

I'm after some of the adhesive stuff / sealant that's used to seal all the rubber strips around the doors etc to the paint when applyling them (What do the dealers use when fitting new door seals?). My boot has started to leak after this weekend's crap weather and i'm seriously keen to get this seal 'sealed.' Haha Is there any BMW stuff used for this? What would you guys recommend? Cheers, Eddy.
