  1. Bah. I'm 16 and I can only just hear them very, very faintly.
  2. I'd bet that if anyone got a new m5 would try this along a country road.
  3. This is Months old. There are posts on here about it. Im pretty sure it was HIS m5. Yes, kids in the US drive incredible cars. Take a vist to the nicer parts of California and you will see kids in everything from bling'd out Range Rovers to new Shelby convertibles. Lets try not to hear all the opininated crap. Its was dumb, but the kid paid the ultimate price.
  4. Who heard about the loon that was trying to set up a NZ version abou a year or so ago?
  5. Please don't use that sh*t in you car! 91 is lawnmower fuel only!
  6. Before you try the full respray, try 'Autoglym Paint Renovator' with a decent fast buffer thing (be very careful!) I have seen some amazing things done to dead paint from this stuff. You can usually find it on TradeMe.
  7. Inca Orange? Leave it the original colour.
  8. In the US its really the same as the UK. 100,000 miles is considered low, and people only really start blinking twice when it nears 200,000 miles. I guess the 'magic number' is so low here because of all the sh*t imports that come here wound back with "35,000km" - they end up blowing up or needing big repairs at around 160,000km.
  9. I like immigrants. Almost all of them work harder than any native NZ'er I know.
  10. One thing really confuses me. Why advertise on here then pay $50 to load it on TradMe, and then relist it the 5x it doesn't get ear the reserve? To see what's worth? Bullsh*t.
  11. You havn't been pronouncing it Zed 4 have you?!
  12. It's because they don't have their roads clogged with shitty imports that bring down the car prices - this protects their local car industry. Therefore, almost all cars are Aus New.
  13. Weren't you the one that started getting personal?
  14. English imports have miles on the speedo. It says Germany on the Sin Card, plus first registered in NZ in 2002 - must be Tourist Delivery. Looks pretty well spec'd out - Leather, TV, although no rear power windows!!!
  15. Some more: iA - Automatic SE - Special Equipment
  16. I thought the only way the L meant luxury was if it was on the L7. And i've never heard of an L6.
  17. Thought of another one. td - Turbo (?) Diesel - off the old 324td
  18. I'm pretty sure it's Li on the e65/66, and iL on the e32/38
  19. One letter is missing off that list. d - Diesel Oh, and iL - Stretched wheelbase
  20. On Youtube there is an old Top Gear vid about the 'new' 1991 318i with the M40. Listen carefully and you can hear the noise from the hydralic lifters! Edit: woops
  21. Wow! I'd certainly be keen. I have the type where you push them on, and turn it slightly until it clicks in place. For 15" Basketweaves. Can you get these, with the BMW logo?
  22. Have a look at what the BMW Individual team can do for your tastes: And even install a fax machine in your 7 series:
