Had the exact problem as described. I just CRCed the connectors to the level sender and it started working again :-) Worth giving a try before replacing anything. Another thing that seems to get it to work and I dunno why is this. 1) disconnect the connectors to the level sender and pump (they are together on the right hand side sender under the back seat) 2) Start the car it will sputter and die after a few second since you have disconnected the pump. 3) Switch off the engine before it dies. 4) Reconnect the sender and pump. 5) It worked for me :-) Good luck!

If you get a tinted by a WFMA member, you should get a sticker saying 35% VLT.... if you have that sticker..the WOF guy wouldn't even bother checking the darkness of your tint. And yes you guys are right. The BMW side windows and rear are tinted glass. Adding to the film, my car is at 30% and no 35% .... but the guy who did it gave me the sticker..so should be sweet :-) Google A1 tinting...this dude is not bad ...cheapest I found in Auckland that uses the US Johnson films. cheers!

20% ... u wouldn't get warrant unless its a commercial vehicle. Darkest legal is 35% VLT.

I don't know how much it will cost, but I know it will look WAAAAAAAAAYYYY better! Definitely a recommended upgrade :-)

Yeah..18 is abit steep TBH. I got my 323i mspec including MSpec full body kit and sun roof and MSpec suspensions at 998xxKs for 8 at a dealer.

Wheels looks good. But yeah...nothing fuglier than those grey skirts...for the love of god..at least paint them :-P Tint is also nice, of of the first things I did to my car.

I got mine done for $225. A1 Tinting. 35% all around, US Johnson film. Life time warranty. And they come to your house to do it. Its about the cheapest I can find that uses the Johnson films...most others does it for 280+ Good luck!

Hey your cars looking great mate I have a 96 323i myself and I think I might have the same problem as you had described. At low revs, i.e idling, I can hear chirping noises, it comes and goes but its kinda getting to me now. I might have the same problem as you, but havent been round to see a mechanic. Hoping I can find an easy fix at the moment. Would any of you good folkes know whats wrong?? thanks

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer. i.e. are they made by BMW? Or after markets vendors such as Depot or others? :-)
