I like to think I'm more center. I guess my environmental side is starting to show =O
-
That's a pretty cool supercharger.
-
I just slapped myself don't worry
-
Mind my spelling, it isn't my strong point. I just had a laugh that you are quoting a pacifist and you used to have a pic of Chopper Read, who I assumed you were a fan off, in your sig who is very much to the contrary Big changes
-
Settle grettle. It's a great quote.
-
I thought Chopper Reid was all about revenge.

Time and a place, unfortunately it's the most tempting to drop the clutch and give it the boot or something just as illegal when you're pulling out of a driveway in front of a bunch of your mates egging you on. It's rude not too Peer pressure rocks.

His death will in the big scheme of things make no difference other than put a smile on a few peoples faces and make a few crazy jihadists more angry. On airports, the US and UK suck the most, especially if you are lucky enough to be picked out for a random check. From my experience flights within the EU schengen area have always been reasonably laissez faire. The most annoying security in airports for me has to be US or Australia overall, or international flights into NZ because of bio-security... but they're just interested in your hiking boots. To me it seems the US security more focus's on terrorism and the like where as Europe is more worried about illegal migrants. I doubt we will ever see the end of airport security.

Sucks if they only offered to put it down to dangerous driving. In my case they offered to put it down to careless driving, so i could get diversion. Saying nothing helps of course, but admitting what you didn't doesn't always hurt. It shows honesty. When I got caught by the cop doing burnouts I admitted I was doing it for a laugh and to show off to my mates.. that's the same case I got diversion for. They had enough evidences to do me for a heap of things, including probably dangerous driving (i'm not entirely sure on what regards it "dangerous".) Maybe I was just lucky. I certainly consider myself lucky!

That sucks. I think $500 on a lawyer would of been well spent.
-
You could just not be a d*ck though and make it as easy as possible for them to get past. EDIT: Like a must add a lot of drivers in slower vehicles do, some dont though.
-
Yep that is annoying. But having a law for a minimum speed limit is not the answer because there are times where there are vehicles on the road which cannot safely do 100kmph.
-
Passing is the issue, like others have said. But I suppose at the end of the day the speed limit is the speed limit, I get the feeling if the speed limit was 105 everyone would do 110 and have the same complaints. The speed limit is 100k, so do 100k. Every speeding ticket I've had I've deserved.

These problems in the law will show up in court I'd say, and changes will have to be made.. or it will just be thrown out. I guess time will tell... sounds like its going to be a shitfest. EDIT: http://www.voxy.co.nz/national/nz-data-pro...mmittee/5/87795 here's another reason they pushed it though that I previously hadn't thought of.

I think I'd still go for the 6 figure salary and the mean superannuation than slamming my johnson in a car door. But what ever floats your boat.
-
Nope. But in this case it wouldn't make any difference anyway because from my understanding the only people who voted against this bill the other night was the Greens. If I remember correctly it was 113 votes for and 9 against.. or close to this. But of course this is bullshit because people in parliament are all irrational beings and anyone else would do a better job, or can at least think of a better way of running the place, be it they maybe have a better idea than democracy or maybe just MMP, or they would be happy living in anarchy as long as they still have internet and petroleum production and all these other lovely things that require order and society. f**k the system! Actually, nah.
-
Fair call! If people like you bothered to vote, maybe you could change that
-
I wasn't under the understanding that it worked that way. I thought they would monitor torrents and send the IPs to the ISPs. I'm not being sarcastic, if it's invading your privacy then that is an issue. Someone spends their time, uses their skills, to write a song, or a film or whatever and they try to sell it to make a living, they even copyright so people cant copy them. They do this to make money, and you hinder them from doing this by taking their music or film or whatever off them without paying for that. I'm not lawyer, from what I understand, that is stealing isn't it? I know I'm being a hypocrite, I've pirated sh*t before, but I accept that this is stealing. You can try to refute my argument on the definition I merely just copied and pasted off dictionary.com, maybe I stuff up a bit, but that doesn't change the fact piracy is piracy and that is it illegal for good reasons. I get your point though.

No Troy. Steal verb (past stole /stəʊl/; past participle stolen /ˈstəʊlən/) 1 [with object] take (another person's property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it: It's stealing because you didn't pay for it, which is the consideration which gives you the legal right to take it.
-
Should I do 70k in a 50k area or not stop at a stop sign? Opinions and reasoning? They are both illegal you complete imbecile.
-
Wah wah wah. We might actually face consequences for stealing, after we are given 3 letters in the mail first. Get over it. People who shop lift don't get 3 letters in the mail first and only possibly prosecuted the 4th time. So you've all still got it pretty good. Although it is annoying for people who downloaded including myself, my legal and moral side is telling me it's about time for something like this.

I'm sure he has insurance.

Ah well, that's not so bad after all..
