well your in quite the shitter situation then, as there is sweet firk all places around town that stock aftermarket bmw parts, let alone expensive lights, if anyone has them in stock it'll be the wreckers. www.moseneuropean.co.nz or try ray hellbm - possibly www.euroitalian.co.nz or www.europart.co.nz maybe www.sdeuropean.co.nz
-
ring Alex at Carspot in Hamilton - www.carspot.co.nz - he is a forum sponsor.. get a price them ask for a discount
-
could be a faulty switch.

I spose you can only cut it from a certain point but yeah, if a 4 door cut could do from say boot back, I could help you out. But said car above looks purrr fect. Andy.

Nah, my bro's abandoned the E30 racer idea for now, hes bought a freaking nice kart and is getting into the KT100's and will go from there. Hopefully he can learn from there and move up the ranks till one day he hits the big track . He really wants an E30 daily though and personally I can't see why he doesnt buy your 316i, that thing is a beautiful car. Hes a hard person to please, I still maintain my favourite E30 I've owned so far was my 316i (1.8), way nicer drive than the others. He wants something to tow his kart and doesnt think a 4cylinder would cut it. Havent started the rebuild just yet, will first be topping up the indicator fluid and then reconditioning hte twin confrobulators in the mean time (in the middle of exams / assignments).

this coming seasons going to be a sweet contest. What with the hybrid 320's and the pocketrocket 318's.
-
Please Silverfox, shield your eyes from the Blasphemic content below!! 318i 's are actually good cars. Nice to drive, handle great, you would be surprised.
-
Hey Dan, This problem has come up before, checkout -> here - in there you'll find this website which looks really useful. Good luck, Andy.
-
how old are ya _dan?
-
Jeremy, just let the man sell his car. I'm sure you would agree that the price is his problem, its his money at the end of the day, if he can get more, good on him.

Do yourself a favour, ring up www.racebrakes.co.nz - talk to some brake people. There are more options than just brembo. A brembo E30 set I'd say would cost you something to the tune of $2000+, and these big brake kits wont necessarly fit under you're 14" wheels. I'm not trying to be rude but more saying you need to be realistic, there are bigger things to worry about than brakes right now. If you've bought an M3 engine for you're E30, wiring it in and making it go should be more of a concern to you right now than buying some brembo brakes.

I believe I've actually been shown through this car before, very very nice. Has nice sound system as well. Exhaust is throaty as without being over the top.

Talk to Glenn at Botany Motorworx. I service 3 of my familys cars there and have never had a problem. Very reasonable prices and great service to boot. www.botanymotorworx.co.nz

Haha photos of BDEDLY featured in this weeks Trademe Motors e-mail. Give me a yell if you'd like a copy. They're just talking about the new Astra.
-
can you pleease clarify a few points that will help us answer the questions better: First of all: is this off the "JPS E30" your Dad gave you? Second of all: You mentioned you had bought an M3, which you havent got anymore so are buying an M3 engine to put in another E30, is this gearbox for this for the M3 engine? Third of all: The dogleg box on which car has blown? Last but not least, what car / car(s) do you own. Cheers

Fairly sure it was in Hamilton last year or the year prior. Sitting on te-rapa straight.
-
www.moseneuroparts.co.nz - give Mike or Kerry a call, they're on Wickham st just off the end of Kahikatea drive.

I remember posting the thread about them.. and what are the chances... another sets gone up on sale.. Style 5's buy thems.
-
$1600 does sound reasonable. I'd broken a rocker before and had quotes much more towards the $2000+ to fix.

Happy Birthday Dave.

met a guy in hamilton once who did stock for a living. He worked in his garage and had tv after tv + computer screen after computer screen .. (literally 10's of them, around his garage). Makes a hell of a lot of money but thus has no time to spend it.
