If you still have it when I get back from the states in a month I am keen. However it is very well priced. Will link a few mates to it.
-
It looks like sh*t if you ask me.
-
Yeah they seem to have a maximum ceiling for prices. In the $6K range you can get an PFL M325i and many other manual options. The Auto is a bit of a price dropper to be honest.
-
Pics, specs, whats been done, what needs to be done. But to be honest. You will be lucky if you get $4 to $5K
-
Yeah my little runaround M325i. Black one.

One for you Darren. Have a read of this poor bugger in the states with an R35. http://jalopnik.com/owner-says-18k-engine-...dium=socialflow

I past you going up Oteha Valley road earlier on. A mate and occasional forum user on here owns Pitstop Albany and Grey Lynn. If Ray is ever not able to help pay them a visit. They just did all the subframe bushes for my E30.
-
Which Pitstop did you visit? They are all capable of doing this very easy job. Any backyard mechanic can do it. Would love to know what their reasons for turning it down were. Maybe you should ask just to clarify the situation. Be straight up with them.

Everyone judges cars in their own way. For me it is how fast it can get around a track. So I find these "stance" cars f**king gay. Race Car > Fast Road Car > Stock car > Crashed car > "Stanced"

I have never had any issues finding people to service any of the family BMW's. E39, E38, E36 E30's. Modified and stock. Never have I been turned away. I can't help but think there is something else as to the cause of them saying no. And I wouldn't put it past them not wanting to work on the car just based on how it looks. Sacked out cheap BMW's are not something high end workshops want to be associated with. No offense. That's just the way it is.

E36 328i. Unless you are doing an engine swap in the E30. There was a near stock powered E36 328i in the BMW Open B that was keeping up with all the E36 M3's. If you strip some weight out of them no cheap E30 can keep up on the track. Some XYZ suspension, upgraded sway bars, semi slicks on decent wheels and maybe a slightly bigger front brake set up and you will have yourself a quick car for under $10K.

Yeah we didn't actually come third like those results suggest. Though we did come second in the 2ltr class. To a fricken Juno Race Car. It was the fastest thing on the track by far.
-
Still cranking. Bimmer not far out of it. Looks like it is going to come down to the Merc and the Porker.
-
Needed to take a sh*t so came in early. Everyone waved me out again. Was gutted. Wasted that silly old chicken cooker RX7. lol

Good weather for Auckland and Hamilton on Sat. So I am predicting a whole lot of who f**kn knows for Hampton. Just like Puke it has its own climate.

Cheap & Easy Brake Upgrades For E30
Driftit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Would the Brembos on my E34 fit behind a 15? I think I am going to have to go much bigger. -
Going to be great. Never driven an SW22 MR2. I can't make practice tonight. And I am first up in the morning. Can't wait.

Jack. Your burning bridges in a very small community.

Pretty much turning the 6spd into a 4spd as I will never be able to use 5th and 6th. I may look at something else further down the line of development. Even this 6spd needs a key way put in down the main shaft so it doesn't weld itself together. Cheers guys I will be in touch.

Hey guys, After a stuffed box nobody loves anymore (not your Mrs). All I want is the Auto Bell housing. This is to make an adaptor for my E36 6spd to mate to my turbo M30. If you want the whole box gone that is okay too. Let me know what you have. Has to have been from an M30. Dan 0211 88 77 33

There was heaps of them on Trademe a few weeks back. Various versions.
-
Walk in. See Holden. Walk out. No offence.
-
Its been so long I have forgotten what size housing I have. Will check when I get home. Turbo is all packed away at the moment while I build up the long block. I have a feeling my waste gate will be around the same spot in the E34. There is not really anywhere else for it to go. Though my turbo sits much further forward. Was going to talk to Steve about where I should place it for best results. Then probably see if I can get Dan Slater to do the job.
