  1. Christ that's pricey. I am not a E36 fan but isn't that about 2-3K overpriced? Or does the manual box out weigh the fact it is a 94 with 200,000kms on the clock?
  2. If you want a Cyclops that is installed correctly talk to Brendan at Hope Hickman Auto Electrical. They are up the top of Nelson St in the CBD. He is also the one that hates AVS alarms for various reasons. He is a good mate of mine and does a lot of work for Bimmersport members and BMW race series competitors.
  3. Who knows. Came with the car. Was a prick to get out. Was so easy to bi-pass. Endless times when it stranded me where ever I parked. Trying to find that video of the AVS alarms being disabled in seconds. But it looks like it has been taken down which is good. Cyclops alarms have a very good name for themselves. They are the brand my friend puts in in place of the AVS units.
  4. Just another warning for those with these plates. Two guys from work just got picked up in Albany and fined $100 for having these plates. They were taken on the spot by the cops just like mine were 11 months back. I fought the fine and pretty much got ignored and forced to pay. The cops on the Shore are checking plates on every Euro. Easy pickings for them.
  5. Get rid of the Subaru. Magnet for muppets. A well known Autosparky friend of mine warns everyone away from AVS alarms. Their 5 star alarms are not even close to what 5 star quality and features should be. If you do get one make sure you change the factory over ride. As this is on youtube and very few people ever change it. Also the org who were giving alarms their ratings have been under fire for the last few years. Apparently it is one person who does very little testing. My AVS alarm caused me nothing but headaches. Immoberliser had a mind of its own but was still able to be bi-passed by jump starting the car. Bloody joke.
  6. None of which need to be M325i parts. They are all generic E30 parts.
  7. They should be fine at +15. I had 15x8 +0 on my E30. Required lots of camber up front and a good guard roll at the back.
  8. Write in stating that you got ticketed not 5 mins before driving to try and get a WOF. The car broke down there and you were unable to get it back into the driveway. It was moved back in later that day. Use your imagination and some bullshit. Don't feel bad about bullshitting some filthy vultures.
  9. I don't think there is anything off the shelf for the E34 anymore. Your best bet is through companies like PPF in Sweden. I have purchased a few bits through them. Great to deal with and the stuff arrives quicker than it takes to clear NZ customs. Otherwise there is no harm in having the coilovers made like Milan did for the E34. They work great. And this way as long as they have a 2" spring you can muck around with the spring weight to get it right for the big motor you have up front.
  10. Mine is no doubt all custom. But they can build anything.
  11. Stocks can do something. My E34 has Koni adjustables all round.
  12. Is it diamond schwartz or Black? What condition is the Bonnet in?
  13. I would have stopped. Even 100m up the road and run back. That was not a small crash.
  14. Rubbish BMW being pushed way too hard. http://youtu.be/4j--GhiMXIM
  15. Can ship it for less than that out of LA through Kiwi Shipping. Would be half that.
  16. I was there a few weeks back. Nobody knows its on. Nobody has heard of it. Staying in San Francisco we were asked by a few people who found we were from NZ if we were here to watch some boat racing other NZers had told them about. Logic says Oracle will win. Emotion hopes they do not. The money would do good for Auckland.

I think last time we did it with Soichi it was only $90. But that was a few years back. And mostly his good customers.
  18. Oh man why are you trying to get rid of all those awesome wicker basket deals!

Should sus one with Soichi Dave. He is loving his Euros at the moment.
  20. Mint. Phone version is great. Won't have to play candy crush while on the throne at work no more.
  21. Yes. We picked them up from the depot in Penrose to save the same price in NZ courier prices.
  22. Ahhhh I see this fugly lump of sh*t on the shore often. He must feast on Hate as it gets unbelievable amounts of it.
  23. There was a radiator stand at the Speed show that was really bagging on some of these cheap alloy ones. They had all sorts of comparisons putting them to shame. Never had one myself though so I can't speak from experience. I had a Koyo radiator in my old 180sx. Was great and really high quality. A few friends with high powered nissans run the Mishimoto rads and I have never heard a negative pep from them.
  24. You can consolidate a number of orders and send them all in one shipment. This is what I did to get all my race car parts over at once. Once I selected to ship it took around 3-4 weeks to my door. I paid GST of course as I was bringing in $5K worth of gear. Too hard to hide that sort of value without risking it being stolen.
  25. I shipped 8 huge boxes for a massive total of $160NZD. Shipping from the states is dirt cheap if you have patience. kiwishipping.co.nz run by Mainfreight. The 8 boxes were all car parts. Including a large portion of a motorbike. A full set of 18x10 wheels. And a number of heavy parts. Ship them via Sea unless you are short on time. If I had done this through USPS or something it would have been close to $1K NZD.
