Some nice sounds so far. Apart from the RX2 which sounds much the same as my leaf blower. Not kidding ether. Not a car but I always thought the brute power of these Big Blocks was just insane. And the fact that cars with this much power only do short 1/4 mile runs. These boats do multiple laps at full noise. My cousin designs and builds the boats for the Grand Prix. So I went down to have a look. sh*t camera in video mode but shows how loud they are. Start up And full noise BTW. You would need 3 M20B20's just to turn the supercharger. lol.

Sounds like she has popped her head gasket. Was going to suggest that as it is a very common problem with the 5M, 6M and 7M's. Just biff another motor in it. Should be able to get them for bugger all. Otherwise put in a 1JZGTE with a W55 and you will have a ton of fun.

Is it just one cylinder missing/not firing or is it more? Have you tested the spark? When you cleaned the plugs were any of them discolored? Or covered in oil? I killed my ones from hard driving. Ran the Big ends on one and then ran them again on the 2nd and seized the crank. Then went to a 6M. Awesome car and power for a 15 year old. Haha.

Oh god a 5m that is still running. Check the plugs to see ifthey are in good condition and not fowled up. I killed two 5M's in my Soarer.

sh*t this starts up every year. You watch the V8's for how close the racing is. The action, the banter between drivers and teams and especially the crowd. Who gives a sh*t if the GTR's, M3's, Sierras were faster. I have no interest in watching a one horse race! There is plenty of other races out there that still have these sort of cars. And they are dead boring. I will never own a Holden or a Ford. But I still enjoy the race series. If this was Big BMW's and Mercs nobody could afford to race and the crowd will be fill of dull businessmen.

Agree. Kinda looks like a bigger Lotus Elise from the fron though. Don't like these LED lights they are putting on quite a few cars. Audi R8 has them and they look awful.

Haha done a similar thing but at Loch Ness in Scotland. Jumped in with another Kiwi at the end of March. In there for less than 2 mins and we were blue. Hangover was instantly gone. Slept in front of the fire that night.
