Stupid question, but who was the no. 8 for the Chiefs? I cannot remember.
-
Thanks. I've been thinking about that, will probably get it done eventually.
-
I can't wait. Street races are f**king awesome, although I would like the Wellington Street race too. Does anyone have a map of the track? I'm guessing it is all flat
-
Thanks. IMO, E34s look their best in darker coulours, but I couldn't let this opportunity go by, but I reckon white is alright. As for how modern it is for an old car, I couldn't believe the way it rides, handles and steers when compared to my dads 95 Maxima and 99 Commodore. Bloody superior. Gas prices don't concern me anymore, cos its sooooo satisfiying to drive

I know Yep umm, Cars n Us they are called.
-
Cheers for the replies. Its got just under 200k on it, but full service history, a clean car inside and out. CD player and all the usual extras. Nicest car I've ever driven, certainly better than recent Commodores and Falcons. I think they were classed as the best car in the world back in their day, cannot see why not. Yeah its M20. Looks like a mint car, don't think I've seen it around though.

Needs a clean edit: this pic is f**ked up. The centre console and steering wheel aren't faded like the pic shows. It must have been the flash on the camera.

Bought an '88 E34 525i yesterday, went and picked it up today after school. Only reason why is because it is manual, but E34s have been me favourite bimmers since i was about 10. It sounds grouse too. So the E30 has gone It was a good first car.
-
M20. The only reason why I got it cos it is manual, very rare these days, and it sounds f**king awesome, plus its an E34. There is also a 535 manual out the Hutt for sale on trademe.co.nz, but I didn't look at that one.
-
hehe, yeah it looked like you car.I bought an E34 525 today, pick it up tomorrow and will post pics. They definately drive as good as they look!
-
Nice 5erI think I saw it driving through the terrace tunnell yesterday
-
Haven't seen one yet (Are they even for sale?) , but am going to Shellys on Wednesday after school so hopefully there will be one there.
-
My M10 318 is the same. I don't bother going over 4000, as it doesn't sound too well (bloody 4cyl) and doesn't pull all that smooth above 4k.

I've got a video of two fags racing their old Honda Civic hatch and Chev Cavalier. They are giving their cars every thing its got to offer, when a Ford Mustang comes storming past them in the median strip
-
Now I wonder if these f**ked lefties are gunna rant about this like they did with the Iraqi prisoner photos, f**king cocksuckers... This was just f**ked. That reaction from the US would have been the same if it was a US citizen or not, cos from what I heard the guy was a f**king builder, ya know, helping to restore that sh*t hole. Anyone seen the video btw? I havent, don't want to, but apparantly it shows everything.
-
Yeah, possibly. Not long ago, a couple of months, my car was over heating everywhere (motorway, traffic, was on red in about 3km of downhill driving, heater on flat out). Anyway, we played around with the throttle and coolant, managed to get the air lock out, and never its never done it since, unless I'm in traffic due to the fan clutch.
-
Nooo, Kingswood, or an old Falcon!!!Either way, they wont break
-
No, I have had the fan clutch fail on both my current 325i and my previous 320i.It definately caused the engine to get too hot, and wasn't cooling the car at all, and it definately was the fan clutch that was at fault, as it being replaced in both cars fixed the problem. Gus also had this recently too. Me too. Haven't got round to doing it yet tho.

Nah I'd rather wait till Brash gets inBTW, who listens to 'The Rock'? A woman rang up this morning and said when that hikoi went through Napier, they marched under an 'Employment Exhibition' banner
-
Probably cos it is fwd, and I think its based off the Camry. The Falcon 6 maybe a lot of things, but it isn't smooth. Even the 'new' dohc one.
-
Na those Porches have a flat 6, like Subarus. f**k, an I6 in the back of a Porsche
-
My old man pulled out at the last minute (bloody work!) So I'm not going up anymore- don't wanna pay for gas, the tickets and food. That would be all good, but I'm hoping to upgrade to a better bimmer in the next few months so I want to save every cent I can. Yeah hope the weather is alright for the spectators, but it wouldn't be all that bad if it pissed down raining (like it did in 2001), as I would be sitting infront of the heater and TV, plus, theres more crashes Enjoy
-
Off the top of my head the Falcon is the only other car with an I6. I think. Ohh, the Nissan Patrol and Toyota Land Cruiser theres those TVRs too. sh*t, theres probably more.
-
Haha. Should send it off to Winston Peters.
