what model yoko do ya have currently? adrive? s drive?
Speaking from a tyre fitters position an with my 3 years of experience in the industry.
Being budget concious could see you in the mid to low end of the hankook range like there h405 pattern, good tyre, good for low road noise an pretty good for mileage for the money in my experience. just my 2c do have other options but think they may be out your budget range. eg toyo proxes 4's Gt radial champiro 228's etc
As for the lowering springs have ya tired keith from H&R? very accommodating guy imo.
Well said. Unfortunately 16" tyres are just plain expensive. The H405 is hardly a performance tyre but ticks the boxes for low noise, good mileage, and value for money. We classify them as a "touring" tyre.
If you could go up to around $150-$180 per tyre then you will get a much better performance tyre.
BTW Matt - PM finally sent

Will this calculator automatically give you exclusive & inclusive answers punching in one figure amounts ?
Sure does, it is a Sharp Calculator. Elsimate EL-124A. anu good stationery shop should have them.
-
or just buy a $10 calculator that has a tax rate button
-
what are you thinking.I regularly put 62 litres in my 535,and i bet not many put more than that.62 litres at 7 cents a litre is only 4.34!
Haha - I couldn't be bothered doing the maths properly in my head so i took a guesstimate. truth of the matter is then is that it will barely be $5 or 2x 2 Litre bottles of Milk
-
Reno = A place in America with really funny cops
Renault = My Car. Buy it. Its ugly but its fast.
-
Still cheaper than water.
And Milk
+1
It is stil not expensive compared to a lot of places in the world. And it will only add about $8-$10 to a FULL tank of gas. How many of you here fill up completely?

those are pretty cool. I would rather the axis wheels though. the centres are to big on them other wheels.
maybe it is just the photos. they look 10x better when you actually see them. we also have 17's!

C'mon Pjay - you know the rules - please resize your pics

Sick of spending on the E30(every E30 owner knows the feeling im sure!),
Sooooo I wanna dolly the E39 up in the not so distant future, so I'm looking at these in a staggered F19x8.5 R19x9.5's, or 18's if 19's make a noticably uncomfortable ride.. the E39 is the daily/road trip luxobarge

Do you have a pic of these fitted Jono, lowered or not lowered either will do?
What would I be looking at for the staggered set w/o tyres? will head into the CHCH branch sometime soon hopefully
Cheers,
Andrew
Hi Mate
I have just the one set left here in Auckland in the staggered fit
cheers

ok i got it right his time
Fronts are 245 x 35 x 19
Rears are 275 x 30 x 19
Third time the charm - i wrote it down this time.
Anyone have prices for replacements?
Wohoo!
Unfortunately they are the wrong size for your 7 series. On the plus side they are perfect for the E39!
The correct size on your 7 (just like mine) is 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. I will have a hunt around and see what I can find for you. What is most important to you when you look for a tyre?

I hope your budget is big - those shocks are not cheap. Unfortunately I cannot help you here but I would recommend going to a BMW specialist
-
Does your E38 have EDC?
-
Are all of the above cars on factory suspension??? they all need drops! they look good as they are though!
I know what you are saying but not every customer wants their car lowered. The E38 and the A6 are also a real PITA to lower.

-
I am pretty sure the shock shop was telling porkies about the shock mount - they didn't even pick up on the loose bolts and they replaced the shocks!
-
HB Marty!

Care to share so we all may learn?
The toe adjusting bolts on the suspension arm had worked loose.
