They are definintely not BBS. I am pretty sure they are one of our old styles which we bought in years ago. From memory the model code is P607

It is only about 1.5mm total and the offsets are identicalI know, but I'm not prepared to bore the centres. I'm only interested in a genuine e39 fit. Maybe one day it will happen, haha.

Off a BMW 318CI
Keen to find out how much the wheels are on their own. The tyres are Pirelli P Zeroes hardly used.
Looking to sell either just the wheels or with the tyres.
It is always hard to put a price on these sorts of things. Even though they are a recognised brand to BMW enthusiasts to Joe Average they are just another wheel. I would say at least $500 to sell.

These are e38 fitment but they may fit e34, you'd need to check. Would look bloody good in their original finish, I wish I could find some for my e39!
They will if you change the tyres and you will possibly have to bore the centres out slightly

Hey,
Was wondering if you can help me out, I'm trying to find out the value of these Hartge wheels. They are 18 inch, in good condition. Was thinking of putting them on trademe.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
David
What model BMW are they off? Are you selling wheels and tyres or wheels only?

Anybody know how to change the rear springs to a E36?
Planning to have a crack at it myself.
Very very easy. Release the hand brake first. Undo the shock bolt and then pry the spring out. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes per side

Because our bmw is the daily hack wife car we need a compromise btwn performance, noise and wear.
Will check into the Toyo's shortly.
This is exactly why I recommend the Toyo's. They are very very quiet and wear very well. Although not as grippy as the T1R, every customer who has put them on has been very impressed. This ranges from a E55 AMG through to a Mitsi Galant.

IMHO there is no such thing as a semi track tyre, Best bet is a track set of tyres and a road set, at least you have the luxury of cheap wheels to hang them on for the E30.
This is the best advice so far. While the initial investment may be quite high, you will save money in the long run. As sure as apples are apples you wil destroy a set of road tyres in one track day. Multiply that by 5 and all of a sudden a second set of wheels and tyres doesn't look so bad.
We just had a customer absolutley destroy a set of new 18" conti's at a track day. He assured us he would be driving "softly" but in the end the red mist came down and he blew a tyre out on the way home. This customer is now "investing" in a 2nd set of rims and track day tyres!

agreed have a look at the toyo if in that pattern if asymetric is your current choice. even look at toyos if ya want non directional or directional the proxes 4(directional) and proxes ct01(non directional) are good options.
The C1S is gradually replacing the CT01 in most sizes and is a huge step forward from the CT01. If you are looking at going directional it is well worth spending the extra money to go to the T1R over the PX4.
The reason I initially recommended the C1S is because the Falken are also asymmetric. I am not sure whythe OP threw the MY01 into the mix as they really are a massive step down from the other tyres that he was looking at.

Good point. 225 45 17
I think you sold a set of BMW 44's wrapped in Falken's on TradeMe recently? I gave up at $800
yep that was us.
Take a serious look at the new Toyo C1S, they are an excellent tyre and very well priced.

The joys of building something different, if someone tells me to sell it and by a Honda/Mitsubishi/BMW again I will loose the plot.
And here I was thinking Corolla's were dime a dozen
Have you taken into account the width of the wheel as well? Will you be using the same width? I take it the wheels you have found are the Ford Focus/Mondeo wheels

Need a new set of rubber for the e46 shortly.
I've been reading peoples opinions and basically I've decided I want
Option A. FALKEN ZIEX ZE-912 <-- who stocks those?? (and is cheap:) )
Option B. Bridgestone RE001
On a tighter budget good options seem to be
Option C. Dunlop Sport SP FASTRESPONCE
Option D. Bridgestone MY-01
In Welly
what size tyre are you looking for?

that makes me happy and sad haha
I'm Still eyeing up a set of yours Johno..gotta read the mech warrenty in the 540i..see if new wheels and lowering voids it etc etc..and have the money to grab them haha
we have lots more new stuff arriving soon

sigh..E39 wants those
Lucky for you they don't fit an E39

I would say even if you’re going with new aftermarket rims anything 8†wide will look best with an offset of 35-40mm. The factory 47mm at 8†look to sunken in IMO.
Correct. Most of the wheel we import for 3 series BMW are in that offset range. E46 do have big guards and the factory wheel does tend not to fill out the guards that well. This is because of the combination of the offset and the relatively narrow wheels they come out on factory.
BTW: Welcome to the forum, car looks really good.

Thanks Johno, let me know when they arrive would love first pick
Keep an eye on the wheels and tyres section - we put up pics as soon as they arrive. What size wheel are you looking for?

I am after new mags and some tints to finish it off and was wondering if there anywhere in Auckland that Bimmersport members get good deals from
Hi Regan
Welcome to the forum. Great looking car! We sponsor the Wheels and Tyres section of the forum and offer awesome deals as we import directly from overseas. You have actually timed you purchase very well as we have a whole new range arriving very soon.
Seth @ Car Folie sponsors the Appearance section of the forum and offers great deals on tinting
cheers

Hi Albert
if they are the same width front and rear then they more than likely will not be genuine unless the previous owner bought 4 front wheels for an M3. The easiest way to tell is if they are different widths then they will be genuine. Pop some photos up with the specs. There should be something stamped in the back with regards to the width and also an offset. ( it will prob show as ET followed by two numbers)

Good looking car but could you please resize your photo?

Hi everyone
We have just had a new shipment of tyres arrive called Altenzo.
These are a brilliant tyre for the price conscious buyer. We believe you will not find a better tyre for the money. They have been designed and engineered in Australia and feature an assymetric tread pattern for low noise levels. They also have silica in them which improves fuel economy through lower rolling resistance, while still delivering great wet grip credentials. We have them available in a range of 17, 18" and 19" sizes which I have listed below.
17"
215/45R17
225/45R17
235/45R17
18"
225/40R18

245/45R18
19"
245/35R19
