Hey guys, I need a head unit for my e30. all it needs to do is play cds and radio and actually work. Dont want to pay much if anything. What have you got?

Dont sell it. You havn't even run in it yet. You didn't spend all that time and money doing it up to sell it....

me and my flatmate can go from having my racecar on the ground running to having the engine out and gearbox and clutch off in 1 hour. we have done it a few times though. and that is without a hoist. You should be able to get it all done in a day if you go for it.

Hey guys, got a getrag 260 that i dont need anymore, Last time i used it it was a little hard to select gears when cold but fine when warm. The oil in it is a little too thick, causing the above issue. Apart from that it all seems fine, came out of my car around 6ish months ago. $200 and its yours. prefer pick ups from lower hutt. Mine and my flatmates cars where both attempted to be stolen. same with a friend in upper hutt, also my friend in upper hutt's brothers e30 was also looked at and i know a couple of people who have had them stolen.

seems to be mainly in the hutt but could be anywhere, mine and my flatmates cars where tampered with. no damage done though. and same with a friend in upper hutt.

ATTN all e30 owners. Several shopping lists have been put out and e30s are being targeted. Many went missing this weekend and even more have been attempted to be stolen. There are some people stealing e30s around wellington region. And anyone could be a target. Do your best to prevent it from being you.

the headgaskets are as easy to blow as alot of any other cars, if it didnt get THAT hot then your probably ok. Well as to replace the radiator or not is entirely up to you, if i were you i would remove the radiator, flush it out with a hose, in both directions, and see if it is very blocked. put the hose in where one of the rad hoses would go and see if there is as much water coming out as going in.

i changed it because i cant leave anything alone, lol yeah i tried the crank pully to no avail, fixed it today though, the black wire on the coil is a sheilded wire, ie it has a wire core, then insulated and another wire around it and insulated agian, turns out you wont get spark it the 2 bits of wire touch, Thanks for you help guys,

torque setting for that bolt is tight, the kind of tight that starts to hurt your palm when your pulling on it with a spanner.

the right chrome wheels on the right car is nice, just you only see that once in a blue moon.

Hey guys, need a little guidence, i have just done a hefty amout of wiring mods on my motronic loom, i now have no spark, have battery voltage and the pos side of coil, and the black wire on the coil is ok back to the pcm, are there any other sensors or anything that the pcm looks at before it allows spark? Car is a e30 325i with motronic 1.3 Cheers oli

its either a bad earth or shorting inside a loom, best bet to clean up all relevent earths and checked the high stop wires.

this may sound silly but check your calliper bolts, ive had that one before,

replace the paper gasket with abit of liquid gasket, you get it in tubes for about 12 bucks at repco and the likes, imo its better that a paper gasket anyway

Hey guys, i am looking to get a tow car for my e30. My only condition is it has to be black. want to spend around 7 but could go a little higher for a real nice example. Let me know what you got and i will consider it.

il swap ya for my 17s with toyos on them. 235 on rear + 215 on front = understeer.

gas axe will do it. may even help if you leave some fuel in it. lol.. please dont take that seriously.
