Engine looks great sitting in place, nothing is going to touch when the engine is revved?
-
I wouldn't know what's it's worth, how much are you actually looking at getting for it? I'm the same as you, not that much of an E30 fan but I too can't resist a good bargain. In the light is there that much rust that you can see?
-
It's two M20s. Like actually.Sorry Andy
-
Going to be interesting at the least.
-
$2, stoked.

Officially turned on. What's that M54 looking engine with the crazy ass plenum towards the middle of the photos?

Not arguing, just stating, wasn't my idea.

As of Tomorrow Jeff Gray European Hastings is ten Brands, one of the biggest Brand holders in NZ. Exsisting: BMW Chrysler Jeep Dodge New: Jaguar LandRover Volvo Renault Fiat Alfa Romeo HB European was over the road from JG which Jeff owned as well, as of friday it closed and the signs came down, unsure of how it's all going to work as they are both small sites, whether sales goes on one side of the road and parts and service go on the other who knows. Going to be an interesting term of events. On the plus side I got this for the weekend. I love Jags and would be the only other Euro that I would own.

Somewaht plus a huge amount more.

My wip for the weekend. JG Hastings is now 10 brands as of tomorrow

Power rating on the side of the box, 4 cyl ones are 300 from memory?

Dunno, I would think a remap would be better bang for buck plus you will have a before and after dyno result, with the software upgrade you could only guess how much you have gained.
-
The mobile guys just plug a laptop into your car and change the software. Whereas the shop puts on a dyno and performs a remap and prints out the bhp change.

If you get the required amount I will be in for a few. -
Haha, we get people coming back just after they have bought a new car who need bits explaining to them, sales guys tend to not.

On the money, you may as well not have warrenty at all as all parties will make it extremely difficult. There is a car company (can't think what their name is) that imports BMWs with only delivery miles that puts their own warrenty on the vehicles bypassing all BMW AG warrenty.
-
Is a bit of a silly carpark. Double side the top rim on then screw through the bottom, how we do it anyway.
-
Yeah Jeff Gray owned that car. Not a hell of a lot power difference surprisingly.
-
Such is life.
-
Not a lot of people here probably have. Be interested to drive them one directly after another.

Having driven both the E36 feels more responsive and the 46 more of a refined power delivery. To me anyway. I like raw!
