I run Spybot, Adaware, & the pay for it version of AVG with antispyware on Mozilla, never had a problem, but system scan was making applications so slow I had to add another 1/2gig of ram.
  2. I have a couple of genuine BMW leather gear knobs in stock. Also have the M sport badges for them. PM me if anyone is interested.
  3. New resistor kit from BMW NZ used to be around $130 + GST.
  4. Also make sure when bleeding the system, that the heater is set on HOT.
  5. Those are the guys that go broke and drag down their suppliers and other creditors then blame the economy.
  6. Sounds like a bad contact somewhere, check & clean the battery cable connections from battery to starter and battery to earth. Definitely have the charging system checked, as it may be overcharging.
  7. The clutch Pressure/Cover plate is also different from 3/84, so complete kit would probably resolve any conflicts.
  8. I do not know which bearing suits that box but they definitely use different release bearings after 3/84. I can probably find either drawings or photos if this would help.
  9. Most likely the belt is loose, or worn out & loose if it has been doing this for a while.
  10. Almost all the Singapore imports I encounter suffer from annoying/expensive plastic and rubber deterioration. Think window rubbers, door seals, plastic mouldings, clips, fittings etc etc.
  11. There is transfer paper you can buy on retard me (I think Canon sell it too but way more expensive) which you print with an inkjet printer then iron on. If someone can do the artwork on a computer, I have seen good results with a little care taken. Some commercial printers use the colour laser version of this stuff for ultra small job runs.
  12. Would have cost less from the forum sponser!
  13. I have new OEM quality (Kolbenschmidt) water pumps in stock $138.00 retail + GST. (Bimmersport discount comes off this price).
  14. And surely this would just make it run hotter...
  15. Last belt driven camshaft on a BMW was on the M40 in E36 (and E34 518). Last one was manufactured around 1994.
  16. Officer Stewart (would you trust this man?) said they download the current database of suspect vehicles into the unit daily.
  17. I have these inner joints in stock. Retail at $65.00 + GST
  18. They have been using this software in central London for a while, they have fixed cameras on all they entry roads. Anyone who drives a stolen car into the monitored area is usually nabbed pretty quickly. (They always look surprised to be caught?).
  19. Drive with whatever lights on you want. Just smile knowingly to yourself if you happen to be ticketed. Cops just don't get how cool your lights look.
  20. Really good Foley artist?
  21. Excessive resistance on spark plug resistor? Should be 5Kohm.
  22. This thread seems to have been titled with a misnomer. NZ does not actually have a justice system, what we use instead is a legal system.

  25. Good rule of thumb is NEVER click on links to sites if you are not 100% sure of the content and the link provider.
