Selling on behalf of my girlfriend who wants something smaller (size does matter I guess) Trademe Link

There are no magic "fuel economy" fixes.... the 2.5/2.8 BMW engines were never made for fuel economy.... they're made for storming long distance trips. I've been driving my car like a nana with a fear of speed and I've still only managed to wring 450 k's from 57 litres of 95 octane! Thankfully I live in the city, so I walk to work and try to only use my car on the weekends.

It'll be interesting to see if we can keep up our form with a new coach at the helm.... although I'm sure Steve Hansen has been taught everything he knows by Mr Deans!

My old boss had a Momo race seat mounted on an office chair base.... looked really cool but pretty hard to get in and out of!

I think Yuen still has a set of genuine polished LTW's for sale (factory M3 wheels).... shoot him a PM.

Cheers Ray... I'll flick you a text.

If the E34 has the M50 engine then I don't see why not...

I replaced the bulbs on my dial Climate control and light switch with ones from Supercheap Auto. They're the same bulbs BMW use throughout the car for window switches etc so they're most likely the same in the gauge cluster too.

If you're au-fait with electronics there are DIY's on the net that walk you through changing the bulbs in the faceplate to orange. However, there are a lot of head units for sale now where you can change the backlight to any colour you like.

Welcome to bimmersport Silvana. Is your touring an auto or manual? Get some more pics up!

Supply and demand. If everyone buys from Brand A they have to put their price up because demand is higher than supply. This in turn makes Brand B appear cheaper and then everybody goes to fill up at Brand B's pumps who then have to raise THEIR price due to demand outstripping supply. In the meantime Brand A can afford to drop their price back to normal levels again.... and the cycle starts all over again. As you can see the only group losing out in this misguided system are the consumers, who never get cheaper petrol but in fact pay MORE for it! Stupid, stupid, stupid chain-emails!

This is actually a show car for Mercedes "enhancement" company Garson USA The car is crystal not diamond encrusted, and is only worth 1 million dollars. (And it's not owned by a Saudi Arabian prince) Don't believe everything you read on the internet. You're right though Ollie... it's still farkin' ugly!

Go on... what did you ask?

Bump... anyone got one? Cheers!

What sort of modification needed to make 320i sound like this?

I'm thinking a lot more money than it's worth! -
Want to buy an E36 Check Control with dead pixels (same as in pic). I'm going to attempt the DIY "dead pixels" fix, but I want a backup in case I stuff it up! The cheaper the better.... Cheers all!

Those are sex on .... well.... wheels I guess!

Bro, can you hook me up with one of those M3 engines? I need one ASAP. I can trade for a genuine BMW Sauber F1 engine I picked up yesterday from "Formula 1's R Us" if you want? Seriously though.... IBTL!

OK, so just popped into the dealer for some prices on the bits I need. Looks like it's gonna be cheaper to buy them from Pelican Parts in the States. So.... Could someone with a M-Tech bumper and textured mouldings do me a big favour and pull off their rego plate holder and tell me the part number stamped on the back? (Nick021 I'm looking at you cos you're a good bastard! ) The part number should be 51112265632 Thanks peops... you'll save a bimmersporter being robbed of 300 bucks for some bits of plastic! P.S: Yuen, I've got a p-chop of my car wearing the above wheels which I'll upload tonight. Certainly looks stealth!

My mechanical warranty through Protecta Insurance only covers the engine and drivetrain.

Unfortunately I've seen the whole set of pics that this photo is from.... and it's a man, man!

Change of plans (as is always the case with modding). I have this bumper just sitting in the garage so I may as well put it to use. That, and I've done a deal for some cheap paintwork. So current plan is: - M-tech front bumper - AC Schnitzer rear diffuser (Cheers Yuen) - M3 mirrors And later on: Lower the car on 18x8.5 CSL replicas in gunmetal finish. Like this:
