  1. Happy Birthday! Don't get your car impounded trying to prove to a Jap ricer what we all know .
  2. I have one from each side of my car, comes with brackets too. Make your best offer .
  3. The WOF guys usually do it for me. Your local garage/wof should be able to do it.Looking good btw, go for the clear/red tails - they look the best on black coupes .
  4. Must have, and did a good job as it was even super glued in which makes me think it was just vandalism as it left half of the thing attached to the head light.I would leave the ambers in, but they are 13 years old so they are quite icky now. Plus it looks silly because the rest of the car has clears and they look pretty clean imo...
  5. Some f**king a**hole stole my front clear indicator while parked at the movies the other day, so now I've had to put the yellow ones back on. I'm finding it difficult to source just the front two indicators in clear, so I'm trying to decide if I should just smoke the front indicators. I found one pic http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/attachments/...cators-both.jpg which don't look too bad. What should I do? I'm almost to stubborn to waste money buying new indicators anyway...
  6. I'm getting normal SKY tomorrow, they said I can get HD SKY in August and only have to pay $50 to upgrade. Component can support 1080p but I hope it's HDMI because one cable is just so much cleaner...
  7. Yea definably . Will have to get come nice pics too.
  8. Ooooh that's sh*t hot . I bet you'll be grinning from ear to ear every time you drive it, M3's tend to have that effect .
  9. My honest advice would be: don't do it. Turboing my car cost well over 15 grand and it spent 6 months in the shop. And that was all with discounts from friends and labour halved. The worst part is I've still got to spend another 4 grand to put a properly ECU in it and get it tuned and running properly. Do what Riley did and put a V8 in it, or an SR20DET. If you really have your heart set on turboing the engine in it I can recommend a lot of places in chch that really know their stuff that did work on my car. I even have a turbo exhaust manifold lying around that I will sell cheap .
  10. Excuse the wrong topic/double post but here's a pic anyway. They look blue in the picture, but are actually white (I can't figure out my stupid camera and all its settings).
  11. Hmmm, better remove the "for track use only" tag on mine...
  12. I got a flippin good set of HID's from Autopassion. I removed the ugmo orange park light bulbs and the car is now pure sex at night. I think it actually looks kinda cool with just the middle two halos anyway . Sadly I can't have fogs because of the blasted intercooler pipes >_<
  13. Haha yeah, but I thought it was worth a shot anyway. Thanks for your offer, it's too late now though - but I needed the help . I'll get some pics up in the "showroom" later .
  14. I've removed instrument clusters from a compact, coupe and sedan - none required taking the steering wheel off, you just need to wiggle it out carefully but forcefully...
  15. Nice car, it's super clean. Haven't seen it around though . Good luck with the sale...
  16. http://logun.org/e36gauges.htm - the first few steps show you how to pull out the cluster, you just just twist and pull the bulb (it's probably green).
  17. Brought a set back from bkk and I managed to drop one and smash the tube (fluorescent?) thingy inside so now I only have 3, anyone got a spare one for sale ?
  18. I have a spare one, it's the 11 (?) button one.
  19. Awesome stuff, I've always wanted to do that...Right now I'm an over paid software 'engineer'/reverse engineer but plan to do aircraft engineering soonish...
  20. Welcome! I think you made the best choice of car possible . I also upgraded from an e36 323i, what a difference .
  21. I agree, save up and get the real thing. If you do a swap you will always have a nagging feeling in the back of your mind that you don't own a real M3. Look at it in terms of economics, paying for the car + mechanic fees + effort + no car for a while = cash difference in trading your 325. Also, e36 M3's aren't going to depreciate too much too quickly where are a 325i with an M3 engine will.
  22. Awesome stuff! Welcome to the bottomless pit of money called BMW FI .
  23. I have this one from my turbo endeavour, steering coulmn gets in the way but the m50 doen't lean over as much so it may fit...
  24. Bimmers here are quite expensive due to import tax. $4000+ NZD for an 1.8l e30 . Image is a big thing in Thailand, so you see bad M3 replicas all the time. However, I have already seen about 3 turbo e36's which is pretty cool, I wish I was fast enough with the camera . No real M3's though (or perfect replicas).
