    My Car.

    What did you buy?
  2. Firefox has issues with saving cookies. My friend solved his by changing it to delete cookies when firefox closes, to keep them to they expire. Mine would expire and be deleted when you leave the page, any page for that matter. So I would have to re-log in if I left a website for too long. Now it seems to work until I close firefox, it will keep me logged in to everything. But if I close the browser (even with the settings set to save all cookies) it will not keep me logged in anywhere. Really annoying but I got used to it. What browser are you using?
  3. Need to sell this stuff to clear some room. Prefer to sell it all together, But will separate possibly if I find I can get rid of it all. Far cheaper all together though ETA 2.7 m20 short block -10.2:1 CR ETA flat top pistons -ETA rods and ETA 2.7 Crank -Bought it low k's, 66,000. Must be at around 70,000kms now. 50ish as turbo. -Toothed front crank and Crank position sensor to run with Motronic 1.3 ECU's -New timing belt and tensioner and waterpump (~50k's on the tensioner and waterpump. Timing belt is less as i replaced it when changing to a steel headgasket). Still as new. - Can throw in a spare oil pump, And maybe a sump if I can find it. $500 M20 885 (325i) Rebuilt head Recently rebuilt, Less than 50k's on it. -New valve guides, valve stem seals, valve grind, rocker grind, crack tested, head skimmed, good condition cam swapped in. Head is mint, Surface is still smooth as it was sitting on a steel headgasket. $500 OR. $950 and you can get: -ETA 2.7 short block -885 rebuilt head -325i Intake manifold and Throttle body -Good alternator, Was bought as a serviced unit last year. -Dizzy cap, leads, coil -Front engine covers, pulleys etc. New power steering and waterpump/alternator belt.
  4. You can tell the difference there.Grahams car Above car is a 'boy racer car', Low as heck, illegal, just done to look bad ass I geuss. Then look at Grahams e30 Wagon, Tidy mods, wouldn't class that as a boy racer would you? Though if his wagon was on its nuts, Big chromes etc, It probably would. All depends what way the car is modified really.. As said by mark, it's the certain mods that stick out between an enthusiast car and a Boy racer

What offset are the wheels? I ran 17x7 20p offset with 205/40's, they had maybe 2-3mm clearance in the rear (that was with rim tucked under the guard to) and in the front I had only rubbing going up driveways, slightly rolled my guards with a baseball bat to avoid it but the car was way to low anyways... You would probably have more luck using a smaller tyre IMO, and a bit of guard rolling.
  6. I was actually thinking the same thing when I was looking at my strut towers. Are all strut braces like that though ? or are they designed to like mould around them?
  7. If my countings right, 75 tonnes of weed would be of $875,000,000 street value here. Why would you need a job if you had that much $$ lol.
  8. Weren't you going to m20b25 swap this?
  9. Agreed. White stands out too much. Colour coded to the car would be nice. I get mine later this week

Could try Ray at HELLBM. Other than that, GL with your search. Don't think I have seen any genuine kits come up here or on TM in a while. And I don't think anyone here makes the fiberglass copies anymore either.

James you Skux. You have made me proud with your new purchase.
  17. I paid $450 for a full 2.5" exhaust with a 14" long resonator in the middle. That was from turbo back though, Would be alot cheaper I'd imagine without having to make a dump pipe etc.
  18. Since it's startup, I would take a stab in saying it's your valve stem seals / guides... Oil leaking down into the cylinders when the engine is turned off, so when you start it up you get alot of blue smoke as the oil in the cylinders is burnt.. I had a 885 head rebuilt a few months back, new valve guides and seals and seats etc, total cost me like $500 including all the machine work and the new stem seals and guides, just full standard rebuild. Cleaned, skimmed, crack tested and all that hoo ha.
  19. How much is it costing? Is it coming straight from the other party's insurance?
