I paid $450 for a full 2.5" exhaust with a 14" long resonator in the middle. That was from turbo back though, Would be alot cheaper I'd imagine without having to make a dump pipe etc.

Since it's startup, I would take a stab in saying it's your valve stem seals / guides... Oil leaking down into the cylinders when the engine is turned off, so when you start it up you get alot of blue smoke as the oil in the cylinders is burnt.. I had a 885 head rebuilt a few months back, new valve guides and seals and seats etc, total cost me like $500 including all the machine work and the new stem seals and guides, just full standard rebuild. Cleaned, skimmed, crack tested and all that hoo ha.

BUMMP..... Willing to do a deal.. Surely someone must want a 2.7 in their e30? Rebuilt head. Low k' block. Just needs a headgasket and headbolts, 325i loom, ecu and AFM + injectors and your set...

Could be the pin #3 ? So when ECU comes on, it powers up the fuel pump relay to turn on the pump..

I believe that e30 is this one.. Friggin loud wastegate dump..

IIRC, It was $12 per wheel at Tony tyre service last time I took a couple wheels there to have tyres put on them. Just tyre fitting and balance, I put them on the car myself..

1. Ignition is the Green thick wire, No yellow stripe. Just straight Green. 2. It shouldn't matter which wire you use, Either way you are going to be open / closing the circuit by adding a switch in there. I too fell for the same thing.. Hub rings over the hub not letting the spare wheel fit.

So just a RB30E? Or we going to see a RB30DET come out of this? Looking at your photos, Your head has the wrong headbolts.. They revised and called back to change to torx type headbolts for m20's as alot of people were having the same issue of the hex head bolts snapping off. That would have caused the blown headgasket I would pressume.. And yeah head would most likely be warped in the area, cracked too possibly.
