  1. At 16, on restricted and insured for $4200 mine was $770 a year for full cover. It shot up after I made a 4x4 towing a boat crash and put a big $12000 dent in my insurance company's pocket
  2. I wouldn't bother trying to smoke those angel eyes. The way us standard e30 light guys do it is buy blacking out the shiney reflector in the light housing on low beam lights (light doesn't reflect of it so it doesn't effect light output in anyway) and you add black crosshairs into the high beam lights to make the reflector appear black. Light actually needs to bounce off the reflector off the high beam so blacking out the shiney surface will reduce light output and wouldn't be legal that way. I did just my low beam lights anyway, Pretty easy.
  3. Yeah NAC insure anyone. I had the same thing with my 1st e30 at 16, just cos it was lowered and had mags no one would insure. NAC did and pretty good price too.
  4. Mine had a hook attached to the bolts on the intake manifold at the back. You needed to unplug the #6 injector to hook that one up.
  5. Vacuum hose come loose anywhere? I have done that before.. Accidently pull of a vacuum hose and the car revs out really high. Or when I blew the brake booster hose off, that was making my car idle at 3.5k rpm
  6. They are known as 6point and 12point sockets btw.
  7. I had them in my e30, They hold the engine down way better (Barely tilts when revving, the whole car kinda moves with it instead). Don't sag or tear like the rubber mounts do either.
  8. If it doesn't fit while 'loaded' (struts too close) why not jack it up, fit the strut bar over the bolts then jack it down so they move together again and wedge up and load the bar then tighten it? TBH I got mine more for looks than anything, How ever it fits is how it'l fit I'm not at all worried..
  9. These were new, my e30 has pretty much just been sitting on them for the last 2 months with no engine. Not even driven on (just kept in there to keep the car rolling). Wanting $80 + some blown 51mm shocks I can throw in to keep my car rolling. They are standard height to suit standard springs. Any interest let me know..
  10. I'll try fit mine when I get my car back next week. Though mine has been sitting undriven for a long time and it's engineless, Probably means the strut towers aren't too stressed.
  11. May aswell post it in here, I am taking Grants place as a Moderator here on the forum. Juuuust kidding..
  12. Then lose your licence... then pack a sad and sell it all... .. wait, what?
  13. You can fit z3 shifter in them, I had a steel plate shifter type as used on the above gearbox and was using a z3 shifter in it.
  14. MOTOR AND KIT GONE. GG.
  15. BUMP... Come on..... ?
  16. I question quality of the above..

  18. We took an old engine to the wreckers around here, hoping to get a couple box's with the money. We got $18. Cool.
