my car did a similiar thing, but stalled everywhere (very embarrasing) there is a little motor that keeps the revs up for when air-conditioning is on (dont know the name), it sounds like that has spat the dummy. Since I dont have aircon I dont need it. I just have the throttle slightly on to provide the same effect. hope this helps in any way.

Im looking to do it once and do it right so my budgets going to be around 10K to have it in, running reasonably reliably and certed.That sound achieveable? emma, Bmw make good cars, but so do toyota, honda, mazda etc. Dont bagg them untill youve driven them. :jap:

meh paint the body kit and give it some clear lights. then it would be pimpin. hope its bagged, otherwise I'd hate to sit in the back. love blatently low cars thou, hate to drive them. love to look at them. also re those mods: not everything done to a bmw has to be made by bmw :thumb:

cheers for the info Matt. umm my cars pretty basic, no power steer or windows etc so that shouldn't be a problem. I was thinking of using a rotary because of the weight, i love how my car handles, and the fact that if I put a bigger engine in it would disrupt this. My brothers laufero has a rb30 in it, they're good engines but for some reason im stuck on this idea of keeping the car light. did you put the engine in yourself? and/or do you know any workshops who have done the conversion?

how hard is fitting a 13b (personal query) non turbo?? anyone here done it? how hard was it? who did the work? how much fun is it?

ahh you can lower it all round, just dont go overboard, im going to go down another inch soon so the front tire is flush with the guard. my car is currently on king lows and the camber is not bad.

looks mint, just remember when lowering never to go overboard as you'll lose all driveability. you dont want to be picking fights with driveways anyways, they always win.
