If you are spending that sort of money they will give you one of each to try for a couple of days- so do that.

I'm early '04... i guess Ryan is an original, sam, ollie.... kinda obvious haha

Pretty obvious it's not an Mtech kit, dont think it's BBS... alpina didnt have side kit for e28 i dont 'think'... im not so familiar with the rest eg. Reiger- were they even around then?

It easily is- parking my e30 beside mums 1, the 1 has a way longer wheelbase, so its not like it is really much of an emasculating micro- car

about 50 people do the paper? maybe a few more....
-
Just found out that of the whole paper, 6 people passed. I know of 2 C's and 2 B's so far

Yeah i thimk what Simon says is good advice- in fact this thread has actually helped me think a lot more clearly! Problem with 'class action' is that this paper has some serious drop- kicks, with intellect and ability that reminds me of what i see on here sometimes . Hence it would be difficult to get guys with a backbone to stand behind the sinature they put on paper just because everyone is, and because "oh yeah, he's a dickhead lets get him fiiiired"

Oh man that sounds like a tough year! Yeah I am at AUT..Unfortunately my bad mark for the paper is MOSTLY attained, my issue being the method/ quality of teaching. A few marks are questionable though. At Otago I had a creep old man lecturer for comlaw, he actually invited me back to his house twice- i complained and he didnt love me so much after that... I still got a good mark though because he had the hots for my mate too and it couldnt be seen that he was being preferential when my mate and I essentially had the same work!

mm good call Shelley- you are right, and I am reminded that he isnt the police and that I really can ask as much as I like. The barrier is that he really is a bona- fide c*nt and it is quite difficult standing up to him, when you are not looking for a fight, but looking for answers. He is possibly the most gratingly negative person that I have ever been forced to deal with

So I just got my last semester's marks back for mechanical engineering. All semester I had trouble with ONE lecturer, he is rude, a smart ass, talks back, offers no help, never repeats what he says etc. A real piece of work. Each person in his classes thinks this and several complaints are made, including mine. But nothing seemed to change.. The HOD said there are 'circumstances beyond our control'. What does this mean?! He has lectured since the 70's, and had retired but has been pulled back into service due to lack of staff. My marks for the semester for my 4 papers are A, A+ A-, and from him a D for mechanics.. What the heck can I do, I quite seriously am not comfortable diving head first into his paper again, a paper which needs to be taught, not so much read from a book.

A bit of gas means just that- a TOUCH on the throttle... as in only enough to squash an ant. Made me think it could be a TPS problem, but nup. Yeah fair call on old tech, just thought that I may be able to get it more regular in its starting patterns... I like you, have checked/ replaced parts needing checking or replacing.... Which has actually been none that needed it, but I have replaced anyway. Awesome thanks re: workshop manual, I will check out the auction.

Hi guys, I own a 1985 318i M10, It would seem that a lot of people put up with starting/ running idosyncrasies in their cars, but I want mine to start/ idle and run as it did in 1985. The car is a well- serviced 125,000km and hence i think my aim is not unreasonable. I am aware of each of the tuning adjustments, from ignition timing through to AFM adjustments- but is there a sequence or simply facory specs for these? Sometimes on start it wants a bit of gas to start and i want to eliminate this at least. I believe I am on the right track so far, failing giving the car to a BMW workshop who arent interested in such small things on an old car. Or should i still investigate something like fuel pressure? Cheers kids

Its cool, but I dont reckon any more amazing than any other one- off supercar that the different places build..... Everyone seems to be able to do it. And being a one- off, it isnt really an actual model is it....

I adore NZ- I love the boating and the fishing and all that, but honestly when I get my 2 engineering degrees, I'm heading for the Middle East, or some such. I too, am sick of NZ imagining that it can become a 'world leader' in anything big- or not realising how it will cripple itself when it is.

Didnt read it in the first place haha- not exactly e30 material! I just looked at the picture

What are they off? A B12?

Have picked up an Isuzu wizard 1998 with 100km's on the clock, great condition- doesnt quite pull like a 3.2 terrano and isnt intercooled, but has a towbar and good roofracks which suits me fine!

awesome 318i "motersport" with go-faster button!
nath replied to paulo's topic in TradeMe discussions
Haha no kidding the giant logos and colour get looks in town! Anything with signwriting gets looks from me haha. However for such auctions, I reckon asking childish questions is far worse than the listing ever is in the first place- newsflash not everyone is on the same wavelength! -
Mint car mate! I completely understand where you are coming from with price- If I were to sell my 318i(!) People would laugh at what I would want and potentially get for it. There are a few very different buying demographics out there who value different things thankfully. -Another mint contender would be the OLD lady in takapuna with the white Mtech2, one of the only e30's JCBMW still take care of

Is your car an NZ new M323i coupe? If so, they were fitted with a hotter cam
