I have a silver 120i SE with 69km's for sale if you would be interested, at a price much lower than that....
-
Yeah hence me comparing to maser and porsche costs.... V10 toaregs are very thirsty yes
-
I wouldnt really choose any of the above, but how about a v10 Touareg (being as you seem happy enough for the costs of a maser/ porsche v8) and have TQ+ power with the handling of a cayenne
-
Come on guys you all know you want a piece of this.

Isn't it hilarious/ sad that so many people can only associate class and style to brands which somebody else thought up. Common. Would be awesome if just a manual v8 merc! -
Wow that's an awesome colour man! looking very good.
-
Hmm tough situation man and I feel for ya, however I think when it comes to the crux, 'nana' or 'mother of 2' wouldn't have lost traction- so you may not have a very strong leg to stand on. Nonetheless I would be very mad if this happened to me- i'm a stubborn c*nt
-
Of the colours, i love the darker green. Otherwise I really like the whitewalls- they sorta allude to turbine 1's on a racing e30 m3
-
You would be surprised man! I have a mate who regularly leaves his convertible 360 parked on te road 100m from his house overnight, and also a mate who keeps his gallardo is a fully open- sided carport
-
The rubbish site wont fully load for me, does it have a ferrari engine like the old one?
-
May I suggest that $25,000 for a non- M3 e30 does not have much at all to do with the fact that it is an E30, more the condition that the old car is in, and the rarity of the CONDITION not the car. These are not really part of the market. A thin argument I know, but valid I think. edit: I agree CamB, cars need to steadily trade at a price for that to be their VALUE, as opposed to $17k+ which is more likely severance.
-
Remember that for something be a rip off, someone needs to have been ripped off...... That car hasnt sold yet
-
With that reasoning I actually cannot argue... maybe, its cult or classic status? Maybe the old- fashioned looks as opposed to an e36 which isnt old-cool but isnt modern? Cannot explain the reason so far as availablity goes though. Perhaps it is hard to get a genuinely good e30, and the rest are utter trash. E36's wont have as much rust etc in them

Those are very low km's for a car which I can only deduce is out of free servicing, what was the deal there? I would also so assume that if you can afford a 135i, your immediate choice would be the dealer no questions
-
Cool man, na i'm not but i'll get the others to head along it sounds good
-
I have questioned this as well and have had different answers so as to leave me even more confused than before I asked... Another downer is depending on how many middlemen come before your retail, their prices will all be up as well, so the cost that you get a product in at will be higher than before.... Things will get more expensive for EVERYONE involved in retail, consumer back.

Vintrim? oh and congratulations Graeme you sly dog

+1 Old model, getting old either way, over 100,000km.... not looking good! That is from teh pessimistic, but realistic part of my brain... Actually my whole brain says no to a 120km car for $40K
-
Bad luck man that sucks! I'd be spewing. If their public liability doesn't want the hassle, you may get paid out quickly and easily. However In most tort situations such as this, you would had to have used more caution and common sense and checked... Then called the council and arranged alternative parking. A hassle yes, but common sense does say that you saw the roadworks and hence potentially altered road conditions. "It was not imperative that your carpark be used". A right, yes- but imperative no.

Same here although my urS4 was an auto... Whenever a part failed it usually had to come from Singapore- the sensors etc seemed to be VW/AUDI not Bosch so couldnt be gotten by other means. Electrical faults for Africa and as above it was a FSH Giltrap car.... used more fuel than the Queen Mary as well. In stock form she handled like a dog, maybe lowering etc may have fixed that.. but the entiure engine was in front of the front axle (!) edit: And yes, I would honestly say very expensive compared with bmw etc.... I remember being quoted just over $1400 for a single high pressure brake system hose, had hydraulink rebuild mine for 130.

welcome to wheel cleaning hell.... order some pacer mag acid, or get the 'repco' brand spray on wheel cleaner, they are the only (aside from mothers which is same as repco) cleaners with oxalic acid in them
-
I'm not sure if your 3L v6 was the same basic engine as my 350Z's RENAULT engine, but i recently drove it from Christchurch to kerikeri and got nowhere near that sort of economy- and I am a nana driver..... I think it's quoted average is about 12L/100km
-
What actual model s it? e30 is just a shape....

Awesome thanks Jono- you have given me a nice ego boost
