Got excited when i thought it was gonna be a B9.... passed one up a few years ago that was (strangely?????) NZ new and a genuine B9 3.5..... for 11k i think, maybe less.... may have been an australian conversion(ok so not GENUINE but all gen parts!)
-
Perhaps I should buy one then? Actually i'm on the fence........ from a gays point of view i STILL wouldnt drive one hah..... but then again my sister has one and once in a blue moon i drive it (where no one can see me) and f*cken love it.
-

FastLaneDaily: Alex Roy "Is BMW the new GM?"
nath replied to Golfboy666GTI's topic in General Discussion
Havent watched the video yet, but i'd say that Mercedes was the first 'new GM' and now bmw..... By that I refer to the new models they manage to slip in between existing ones, and inventing new classes such as the X6..... who's running gear may as well have been put into the X5? -
yeah thats a cool shot. your car sounds a lot like mine, but with 20 less km ive only done susp mods and bbs wheels
-
That is horrendous!
-
I reckon the silicone will seal it good. There is no vertical boot adjustment at the hinges, just at the latch which isnt the problem area.... I may go out and silicone mine in a second!
-
The boot seal definitely leaks. the water gets underneath it and over the metal lip that it is attached to.....
-
water on th eback seat is water coming through the forward part of the boot rubber seal when it fills on a slope...... the water goes under the boot carpet and onto the bit the rear seat sits on! Does on my pre fl anyway. They also have pretty bad rear light seals they are foam like from a wetsuit.

-
convertible with black rims?
-
cool as! apparently they drive seriously well

Sorry I didnt read OP properly- YEs he can take that car back. However depending on the value of car, the law does make a few allowances. But the allowances are more trouble than just asking parents etc for the rest, or saving yourself the hassle and just having your money refunded
-
lappy wont let me edit post to fix spelling etc- and also while payment is the vital 'consideration' component in a contract, the sale is sealed once the agreement has been made. Wether you have the right to physically take the car yet or not i am unsure about.
-
Unlike real property, a car has changed hands once the agreememnt has been made, verbal or otherwise. No money need change hands- in fact the buyer needent even be in possesion yet. the car is the new owner's and the seller must make arrangements to get his money

Cheers guys, I have had a look at trademe to no avail- may as well go get/order a new one from bmw. I usually do just fork out when needed, but figured i'm not looking for 'last 20 years' quality in reality
