hey yeah i saw a JTS 159 sedan in silver today with those wheels and kit and thought it was pretty sweet! I really like the 159 shape

Awesome car, amazing that your parents let you buy it! fully sexual car. Well done for being honest about it man- trust me you arent alone with those car issues- most people are just too proud to admit their cars' probs!

I know where you are coming from- I paid 8 dollars for 1 hour at princes wharf because the viaduct was shut, then got to my car 11 min late and had a $60 fine, or should I say invoice. I do not think that this is 'just' at all, perhaps 25 dollars max should do it. Public meters fine 12 dollars. No they cannot FINE you, but they can invoice and collect on non- payment of that invoice. We enter a contract by parking in their god forsaken parks.

From a diagnostic point of view, this shows that the TPS is indeed the, ore one of the things causing your car to bad idle. It's an easy thing to adjust. Perhaps first remove it and test it with a multimeter so you dont have to split it apart(instructions all over the net i think). If it tests ok, with it mounted but loose adjust the throttle butterfly to a nice idle. Then tighten the TPS screws so that it is at its lowest point. You should hear a TINY click immediately when you move the throttle butterfly open. If it doesnt test OK use the other one, or perhaps open it up, clean it up, and re- glue it back together. The TPS is just one part of the idle circuit though, so it may be functioning correctly and triggering some other faulty part? Idle problems on my Alpina turned out to be a fried connection in the ECU(common apparently) which I had fixed by a TV repairman, and a shagged coolant temp sensor both at the same time- making it very hard to diagnose.

They paint it properly, with proper finish... you would be surprised how many cars' black plastic trim is painted black from new.
-
R r r r repaint.... Often black 'plastic' trim is painted plastic anyway. I had the black bumper plastic all repainted on a merc I had and it was like new.
-
Yeah it lives down that road that comes up from the west end of taka beach..... not clifton, the other one. I think. have seen it a few times on my run
-
I'd have to agree surprisingly untidy...... I want an E23 suddenly.... on style5s
-
Coolest rims on an e65 are schnitzer ones i reckon
-
That's Will! and it is a sexual car.

$6500? may be wrong, but thats what id expect to pay for one. wouldnt be amazed if i saw one for 5-5500, nor would I be surprised but definitely not interested if I saw one for 7500-8000
-
Mmm yes i agree with most peoples' pre-pay sentiments..... In fact, I am not a rude person ever to service- industry workers, but a while ago i was so mad about the circumstances of the pre- pay at whatever station- that i literally threw the money at the man behind the counter....

Pretty nice blue e28 m535 this morning in takapuna plate '88MM', sounded really nice too

rrrrrr I dont usually comment on these threads because often I find that the defendant acts as badly as the accused..... but looking at the comments he put on the e46 m3, what an ARS*H*LE!! I wouldnt let him have it though, someone so stupid as to post such drivvel is on a different wavelength to smart, mature people and would just keep coming back. Sounds like an insecure liar

carb cleaner or brake cleaner? im pretty sure thats what i used many moons ago
-
yeah there was one for sale a while ago for not too much, seemed people DIDNT like the colour? i liked it lots. There was a rarer green as well though that i havent seen yet
-
I seem to remember this one had a Hellbm sticker on the rear window and had black grille and perhaps 1 wheel the same as yours? Yours looks way nicer
-
Nice! I saw a car very similar/ same to it on my sisters shared driveway the other day in bad condition with a few mis- matched wheels and dead flat tyres......
-
Hah yeah Ollie i had no idea that there are 3 shades of a similar colour... Bronzit, Luxor and Bahama! I must say im loving the fuel economy after my S6. Shes my baby.... I wouldnt mind a new chrome windscreen insert now!
-
I must have seen these today... hot!
-
Haha I hadnt intended for that much rake but hey whatever.... Yep RA's, i quite like them! but would like them wider. Milford marina just down the road. Odd style marina, only accessible at high tides! I'm quite keen to get a new chain tensioner piston, as i dont think even an m10 should be this agricultural at above idle but below higher engine speeds
-
Yo, figured I best slap some pics up of my car so took a couple when I was at the marina. These are my 2 fav things in the world... sadly I only own one of them. 1985 318iA 129,000km Bahamabeige- metallic FSH etc. Included a pic i dug up of the boat when she was new which i thought was interesting
