Thanks guysAs mentioned in the last thread i'm an amateur car cleaner and did have time to do all of the car so only some of the car is looking better. Have a few things i'd like to do to it, respraying a few panels is on the list but will save up for that. I'm sure other things will pop up soon tho.

Yep or 320i conrods. IE and MM make spacers. IE one is $50US, MM one $200US.

Had a quick look under the car today to check the diff and looks like it might just be standard 4.1, was very hard to tell from tag. Also gave it a ok clean and i can safely say im an amateur car cleaner/groomer. Need to take a course or something. Looks much better than before but wouldn't call it mint. I dunno about a red cover but the current ones quite dirty so might clean it up at some stage and give it a paint but will decide on colour at a later date. Compared to the 320i its sooo much more/better at everything. the 320 feels like a tank.

The guy who was selling said that there were 65 bidders/watchers. Alot of which i imagine were from here. I wonder if it was in for sale in Aucks if it would have sold for more/less being a bigger market cause would cost a few hundy more for transport/flights.

From my understanding it has the m42 16v engine, ungraded suspension with stay bars etc, sports seats with different interior, iS lip, LSD, basket weaves (only 14" in this case) and according to one source only 20 were originally bought into the country. Will do so this weekend weather pending. Anyone got any good tips for getting the red to look great? Its slightly faded in parts and will get it resprayed at some point but not yet.

Wow that seems like heaps, did it need all of those things replaced? you can get an Inspection II service at Chch BMW for that.

Almost exact same thing has been happened to me a couple of times this week. especially when its cold, feels like its going to stall but then after 5 or so mins its fine

Organised a check for it tomorrow(Wednesday), so if everything seems sweet and the price doesn't go to high i'll hopefully buy it.Anything specific i should ask to be checked/looked over?
