Got some more stuff to add: Twin pipe exhaust. Bolts up to M20 downpipe. Has a centre muffler but no back muffler. Would be touch and go for a wof, but it sounds gnarly above 3000rpm. Can be seen and heard here - $80 - On hold.E30 4cyl king spring superlows, front only. I had these in the front of my 325 touring and it was pretty low. $60. sold E36 6cyl king spring superlows, rear only. Also can be fitted to E30s to get that extra a spring rate - I bought these new and ran them in the touring for around 2000ks and they were great. $80 E30 6cyl Voigtland lowering springs, front only, $70 Max.

^ This is true. It is definitely slimmer up top than the other two helmets I have worn although I still don't quite fit when upright. I just pop my head over in the sunroof bit and get my gangs lean on.

Thanks for the words. Just went to motomail, they had some plain looking rjays ones but they were entry level, and everything else looked like it was trying to be too fast. Of course, these were all motorcycle helmets. Where does one go for car helmets? Hybrid?

Hi, I want to get my own helmet for trackdays etc. How much should I spend and what do you people recommend? Is there anything I need to know in terms of specifications / safety standards etc. Do they make low profile ones for giraffes like me? Cheers, Max.

The motor form Mattzy's old project E30 (1988 NZ new 325i manual). Has new cambelt and water pump about 2000ks ago. Was apparently running a little rough before he retired the project. We since discovered that the dizzy cap was really badly worn, a near new one will be supplied with the motor. The owner wants $500 which I think is bloody good for such a low ks m20b25.
