As per title, after a set of halogen angels for the ute. Prefer the whited indicators, but could deal with orange as a last resort.

how to find production numbers by year and model?
francoisv replied to kulgan's topic in General Discussion
Wowsa, man that's a lot of digging. I only used that site to see if my car (and others) are genuine Msport or just badged. 1669 doesn't sound like a lot on the grand scheme of things and I wonder how many of them are actually still alive. -

You could also try putting the last 7 digits of your vin into the real oem site, it should return a 4 digit production code. -

Sorry to high-jack the thread, but Glenn, do you have any rear shocks for the E39 tourings with SLS?
-
I didn't have springs in mine when I removed, but I used the below as a reference to help... http://bmw.iamgary.com/category/e39-touring/ You may want to speak to Ray@HellBM, he might have some newish ones in stock, if not, you will probably need to look at Pelican or ECS Tuning off shore

E60 vs E90, thoughts and opinions welcome
francoisv replied to DR1FTMONKEY's topic in General Discussion
I agree with Breaker, the E60 is by far one of the best ive owned to date. Ive driven my cousins 330 E90 a few times, and its a nice car, but the E60 just seems to tick all the right boxes for a lot of people. Anything above a 530 / 530D and you wont be disappointed, plus there a few DIY modifications you can do to these that are fairly easy. But as others have said, try pick up one that has a few Motorsport option or complete motorsport. It will of course come down to personal preference and what you feel most comfortable driving in. You should shoot down to a local dealer that stocks a range of what your looking for, and test drive a few. Would give you a better idea of what you want I would think. -
Ask the owner for the VIN and enter the last 7 digits here. Should tell you if it was ordered or shipped with Msuspension etc http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html

Had some issues getting the sub frame out, so still have the car and some parts left if anyone is keen. Pick up this Sunday in St Johns Park, Auckland. Text me on 021 302 485 if you want to come pull out what ever you want (minus what I need) Depending on my mood, I might be inclined to give some parts away

mmmm, this would look pretty good on the ute. When do you plan on having it installed and running?
-
Im just loving the fact that is promo video is New Moon with the ever so lovely looking whats her face on is 3" monitor. And at least the car will smell fresh with not 1, but 3 air fresheners running up in there, the pure smell of vanilla and epic-fail.

Yep, pretty sure it does. Ill confirm today if its working and ill get some measurements too
-
Yea it won't actually be that sparkly, the flakes will be finer so it will appear to be black in one light and dark blue in another.

Beasty was picked up today, kind of an emotional departure. Stopped by the paint suppliers and picked up my sample sheet, colour will be similar but smaller / finer flakes

Ive just test fitted some coil overs in my 540i donor car with EDC, and have not had any errors appear. Was a straight swap and I just tucked the sensors etc away. Mind you I have had the battery disconnected for a few weeks.

Fiddy good. Haha

Thanks I was going to go with the BMW i8 Blue/Grey. But have since caught sight of another colour that I really really like. It will be a 2 tone Black Blue pearl
