  1. I may have one for sale. It was a 320 driveshaft that has been shortned. Pre FL though so it will need a new centerbearing and it needs to be balanced again becuase its seperated at the center bearing

    offsets

    you will just squeeze on 17x7 with a 42mm offset, (with 45mm struts) if you have the bigger struts they wont fit. I'm not sure of max offset for 15" or 16" wheels. Ideally try and get something around ET25. Also have to make sure that the wheel clears the brake caliper, this depends on the design of the wheel.

    just got a an offcut piece off metal, cut it to size and bent it to shape using a folder. Cut/Drilled holes in the right places for AFM and thats it, not much to it at all really. Having the right tools for sheetmetal helps I was thinking about making a few up and selling on here/tardme etc but couldn't be bothered with different style intakes and all the other bullshit that goes along with it. andy, I just don't dig tec1 wing.

    not a fan of Mtech1 wing, I reckon a colour coded sport lip would be the go. Go meguiars 3 step and you should be looking a whole heap better. You dont have to ditch the pod, just put a heatshield around it. like mine...

    If you going to do an intake like that atleast put a heatshield on it. Don't want to be sucking in hot air. Probably lose hp. E30 have a good cold air setup stock so either keep that with a panel or use the example above but use a heatshield.

    I hate tailgaters, specially homos in 4wds cos we all know 2 tons of metal is awesome at emergency stops. meh, after cruising along at > 45kph they soon get the idea.

  13. Try increasing the pressure in your front tires, or dropping your rear pressures. More camber on front would help or as gus said bigger rear sway or smaller front.
  14. more on intermarque sprints- must be a member of motorsport affiliated car club, BMW club is. log book not needed if you only doing one round. also need 100% cotton overalls. Should probably do one of the training days first tho so you know what to expect

    just buy a clutch aligning tool from repco or BNT, you need it so your clutch assembly is centered when you put it back together.

  17. Depends, some 320 had a 4 cyl engine (M10)

    L-jet dizzy can just be pulled out and replaced with the cap from the 2 litre engine.
  21. no way!a 2.3L car to do that good in town driving, are u sure u didnt mean open rd!? yeah a 325 will do better on open road than a 320 and around town they're about the same! if i went to buy agian i'd get a 325 but getting a manual bmw here is just about impossible, especially an e36! agreed, I seriously doubt an auto 2.5 would get that good milage round town. Thats the stuff of civics. Maybe you mean 8.3km/L? - 8.3km/L = 12L/100km which would be more believable.

    Where is your distributor? if its in the block its L-jet. If its off the head its Motronic. easiest way to tell.

    or get a custom chip written for 2.3L engineE30stz, what makes you think your 320i was L-jet, I though it was FL so would be motronic?
  24. I normally get 10L/100km driving round town without even trying to save gas. It got better milage before I f**ked round with exhaust and intake and also if I try to drive economically, so I have gotten low as 9L/100km round town. get between 7-8L/100km on the open road. Used less than a tank driving up to manfield, few laps, then home again. Manual 318i BTW
