Not the shocks, replaced them 2 months ago. And i don't see how both trailing arms can be bent in the exact same way, (not that its impossible, just really wierd). Springs are stiffer as well. Nah i'll just take it to someone who knows bimmers, probly that guy grant suggested.

Thanks for that number grant, i think i will give him a call, no-one else has a fix for it. I'm trying to think of what else could be causing it. Its only a 30mm drop in the back and other people who have dropped that much only have about half as much camber. It only looks lower than 30mm cos of the subs in the boot and the smaller tyres i have on there.

I work part time at a tyre shop and they do suspension and stuff there, they can't see why its so much worse than it should be. A few different people have had a look and no one can figure out why, everything looks fine.

Still not sure what to do about my nasty camber problem, I was going to get a subframe off greame but I have been talking to people and I'm now not sure if that will definatly fix it. I don't want to go to the trouble off getting the thing down from auckland then changing it over and find its still not fixed. So, i'm now thinking of getting some off set trailing arm bushings. Whats your opinon on these, and where the best place to buy them from? I realise that a buying a second hand subframe will be cheaper but i want something that will definatly fix it and i can't be fukd mucking round with it.

Will either of those work with a 4 cyl E30? Those prices aren't too bad really, compared to what some place want for a specialist short shift kit

Right so it more just tells you what the engine is doing as opposed to say telling you that an injector is broken or whatever?

I couldn't believe it when they said $300 for a seal. I was expecting about $60. I was going to replace mine when i replaced the sunroof but not at that price. I will just use the one i got with the replacement panel. Ollie, you can have my old one if you want, it still seems to be working fine... its just growing stuff thats all. Probably easy enough to clean off. Is there something wrong with your current seal or you just want a new one?

What is the plug in the engine bay for then? Surely has more uses than reseting the service lights?

Welcome, nice clean ride dude, I'm assuming stuff here so I'm probably wrong but I think the snowflake is to do with the aircon. The button by the steering wheel could be to do with lights, either fog lights or dimmer. I only got E30 as well so I'm just going off that. We have a meets, roughly every 2 months or so. (someone else feel free to correct me on that)

I got a pioneer head unit and i think its awesome. Goes real good, you want be disapointed if you get pioneer, I haven't listened to blaupunkt stuff so I couldn't tell you. Easiest way to tell is go listen to blaupunkt stuff on comparator board and then some pioneer stuff. Then buy what sounds the best.

Sounds like you should have it sorted but could be warped brake rotors, quite common on E30 aparently. Other possibility is bent rim, but I'd be extremely surprised if it hadn't been picked up in the wheel balance by now.

Dam, that is by far the easiest way to do an engine transplant. Everything you need right there. Can you let us know what it goes for?

Why no sunroof? One other thing- how much does a M20B25 go for these days? Where you going to get yours from?

Problem is there aren't many 2nd hand ones around cos they paint seems to chip off on all of them. Normally the white for some reason. Its starting to chip off on mine.

Yeah but imagine the noise that V8 would be making. I wouldn't be complaining, you wouldn't even bother with a stereo.
