So you are going to get the manz affiliation? sweet. care to elaborate on how much we looking at for fees? would still go with BS for intermarque (when i can) etc, just curiousmanz stuff, take your membership fees).

I like em. Paid $110 fitted and balanced in 14". very decent
wouldn't bother if you going to track them though. few times round manfield and i half melted them. Also they are asymetric, meaning you can't flip them if you have bad camber/toe problems.

dam cool, very nice install.
any more info on the build?
I reckon those skirts look good.

hate to say this but just buy a manual 325i. Getting pretty cheap now, definatly better value than a bigger cam and manual conversion. Or buy a wrecked 325i (around $1000) and get all the bits from that.
and yes, autos are crappy. worse gas milage and they plenty slower.

I'm still not sure whether or not to clear coat the polished lips. If i do it will stop the oxidising, but have also heard stories bout it going yellow and cracking, then its a real bitch. waxing could be something to think about.

doing the same thing on mine, getting the curbing out then polishing. pretty good guide here:

gutted bro, sorry to hear that

would be suprised if its subframe bushes, mine were pretty rooted and the rear-end just sort of wondered around corners. No vibrations or shudders or anything. Besides, don't pay $200 for 'em.subframe bushes isnt it people?? they are 200 each from euro-italia, do it then see what you think it might be that, does it hop round corners? ive been told thats what prob is, i dont hop round corners just have knocking sounds..

I'm think that RD head was either twin cam and 12 valve or it was just a 24 valve single cam. Can't remeber which it was.

depends where you from. over in the states that might be true but over here we just got standard 318i. engine is main difference, plus iS gets sports bits, seats, steering wheel front lip, suspension etc.i was told taht in 91' hte only model of 318 tehy made was the "is" isd this true or do they make an "i" as well and if so wats the difference in that

thank you
emo = ftl

you will have the smaller 45mm struts, the 318iS will gave 51mm struts so there is less clearance. Spacer sizes i gave were ideal, not necessary.
-
stick on some 185/60 enduros and it could
-
somehow m3 cabs just don't look as good as the m3 saloons.
325i cabs look sweet though.
guess the guards just look out of place

happened to me last week as well, first time its happened so it could have been a door ajar or something but don't think i'll be that lucky.
Have you priced up a sunroof seal from the $tealer yet? Its f**king outrageous.
-
10mm will probably clear but you may need bigger than that. How wide are they? 7" rim should have a 15mm spacer while 7.5" you should be using 20mm
-
No, you will need spacers.

Any ideas on how much tougher the 260 is? I assume as its longer due to bigger gears?
-
Both are L-jet but changes were made thru production. According to bentleys theres atleast 3 different variations on the M10 L-jet system alone.
Also, to really make things fun there are 2 different ignition systems used (Bosch or siemens) You are aware L-jet is fuel only?
Check simple things is all I can suggest, battery charged etc...
As you should be able to swap bits over easy enough from motor to motor
-
You can buy my subs and box. 2 x 12", lowers it quite a bit.
-
Yeah but by the time you've spent the money on the exhaust you could be half way to putting a 2.5 in
I have a 2.25, didn't do sh*t for power, just sounds better.
BTW: This has been covered heaps, search.
sunroof leak!!
in Maintenance

I've pulled out my carpet in an attempt to find where my water came from. Sat inside the car and had water poured all over it, no luck. No rust or water marks anywhere on the floor.
Anyway as for sunroof drains...
The front holes drain down to the sills, one by the front wheel and one by the back wheel (on each side). Water will come out one or the other depending on which way the car is sitting. Rear holes drain out on each side under the boot. All of mine flowing freely
Firewall drains...
These come out next to the front sunroof drains and there is also the "elephant trunk" that they talk about on e30zone. I checked mine and it was completly blocked. Cleaned it all out stuck it back in and so far no more water.
So either the the blocked elephant trunk was causing water to back up and flow into the car, which is strange as there are no water marks. Or I left a window open, or I haven't found the leak and it wasn't been raining hard enough for the water to come back.
Had any luck with yours Ollie?
