Having been fortunate enough to meet the Stone brothers and have a look at their cars and equipment I learnt these cars are far from prehistoric, they showed us their computer systems and how the car is actually constructed. Have a look at the length of them next time you are at a race, also have a look at where the seat is mounted and what the interior actually consists of, the cars don’t even have floors for example they are about 5% of what a road going model is. Oh and Glenn, I would lol at you trying to work on their cars, they are engineered from scratch, the stupidly complex computer systems alone costs a cool half a mill, and they are constantly upgrading

The “V8 Supercar†is a different formula to “Group A†The demise of the Group A formula worldwide killed the way it was not the Australians. There is always someone bitching on about the Group-A error, it’s been 15 odd years, get over it peoples, the modern V8 Supercars are just that supercars, they are a lot faster than the Group A cars and have a fair formula plus they generate a lot more money for teams and sponsors which is what it is about. If you want to see near production cars go around look for coverage of the Bathurst 24hour Production race. If you want to see Euro’s and Japers watch the WTCC, the BTCC, JTCC and DTM.

Will move to Rapahoe instead, looks quaint and sounds like Papatoe.
-
I have had a car broken into even though it ws unlocked so you could be wright.
-
I’d get a gun, shoot your brother, crash your car, shoot at a cop and then go and find a public toilet somewhere really cold to hide out in for a few days.
-
This looks cool, if it were a 328i it would make for a good cruiser. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-245926155.htm Looks hot with the 19†wheels and in white. Hate how people call them “BMW M5 wheels†if they were M% wheels they wouldn’t fit your shitty little E36 fool.

One shot of beer per lap... its only a shot.
-
I don’t know, I just heard the add on the Radio that said that they had upgraded it with heaps more GB’s and that prices were down.. Might get one for the missus and steal her mega GB Classic.
-
Good value, they are in the capital of Ham tonight, rock out with your chicken out. http://www.therock.net.nz/Music/LiveRock/L...38/Default.aspx Get a better fire extinguisher, one that puts out fires and stuff 33% better. The I-Pod Touch has just been upgraded, good value.

Go Murph and Skaife.... but go Ford. Hm. Im just going to gt drunk and waite for big smash ups, fire and burnouts.
-
How exciting. Go the Legal Tender tonight and get trashed to make you forget it.
-
Wouldn’t do any damage, they are simply taking your engine to within 5% of what it can do. With a intake and de-cat a remap would yield some good results on your car, would think 20hp. ST240 has a nice ring to it.

Only on Turbo cars, its not economical on N/A cars unless its there to compliment or tune for other mods . Took the Astra from 147kw to 170, 260nm to 310nm. I could liberate 30 odd KW and 50NM in the Megane if I wanted too but im still happy with the speed at the moment.
-
Yes you can chip it. http://www.superchips.co.nz/models.php $100 a Kw.
-
Also. TTE Group-B AW11
-
Good stuff, they look nice. I dont really like AC Schnitzer wheels, they remind me of these for some reason... these would look cool with lip though.
-
They still race them too! So many cool Group-B cars developed by manufacturers never made a rally, had it continued there would have been some epic Homologation specials. I enjoyed the Group-A error , was nothing wrong with that! That is mean, never seen that befor! Cheers Simon.

Nice, Whitline is good stuff. It’s going to be even more twigity now, it’s going to be 33% more fun though! Why did you not replace the front drop link bushes, not replacing them kind of defeats the purpose doesn’t it? You can get them repressed with Nolithane, I had mine done. Such a nice setup your car has, given a fresh start on a E30 I would be copying this thread. ps: Oh, and I have EBC reds, EBC disks with a new EFL fluid bleed through and they are fantastic compared to the old ones, not hand of god stopping power but a vast improvement over the stock stuff. I think the E30 Series boys run them as they gave the E30 series discount for some reason.

Not sure if this had been posted before or if anyone has ever seen it but this guy really knows how to drive an M3

No worries Nick, should go well, I hope they give it a proper dash so I have somewhere to store my tapes but the Zipper dash does save a sh*t load of weight and thats what this car is all about, light, cheap RWD fun, with all the safety equipment required these days thinking out side the box is what is needed to achieve objectives, if they can get this on the road at under 1100kg it will be awesome. What's f**ked up is that this car is designed by the French and built by Subaru, is this what it takes for Toyota to build something cool, not build it at all.
-
Same, im so excited, went to Toyota today and said I will give you all my money build it and they said buy a Corolla so I said f**k off and came home and did some more looking, it will be built by Fuji Industries as Toyota have a 16% share in that company but it will be 80% Toyota, kit will run a 2.0 boxer four and as of yet Subaru has said nothing about their version. it will be sold for under 40k nzd.

Use a white and red side marker off the side of the road, steal 5 and make a whole M-Fail II kit
-
Goes very well indeed, the Quaife and Big brakes look to be keeping everything under control. Looks like a really nice track, are those cones there for turn in and apex guides? Bloody good idea, would be good to have those at track days at Taupo.

Screamer pipes frighten me, they scare the sh*t out of old people and small animals and children, is there a quieter option that is good for performance. I had a mate with one on a Mitsubishi, he thought it was awesomeness and was completely oblivious to the fact everyone thought he was a tool screaming 50-100kph past primary schools and skate parks… its like Vtech for people with turbo’s, they hold off and then flaw it like some money shot.
-
Then buy one, they are cheap. Was offered one for 12k a while back.
