    318

Hi, welcome to the site, hope your 635 is doing you good. Can't help too much on the E36's, is he going for a 318 for the cheaper insurance or cheaper price??? Tell him not to rush it and to try and get a 318iS, more satisfying, but that's my two dimes.

    Differential noise

  8. Hey guys, my diff was making a really funny noise and didn't sound right so I dropped it out and opened it up to see if I could spot what the problem was. I've taken a couple of pictures for you to have a look at and tell me what you think...

  11. Forgive my ignorance but where did you work and what did you do to get fired??? I nearly got the sack once, hehehe, I remotely accessed a supermarket database from their bakery (they had no idea it could be done) and changed prices of some foodstuffs to give away special *discounts* I got busted down to trolley boy for *misusing company property* - little did they know the full extent of the operations...
  12. My sincere condolences...no one should have to go through the pains of losing their precious ride. My diff just died last night...I should hold a ceremony for it...anyone got a spare 3.65???

    Hrmm...

Sorry, I disagree with you worm, I have TSW wheels and i've been extremely hard on them yet they're as straight as the day I bought them 4 years ago. They're war weary and show it and yet you tell me they're soft??? BS.

    E30 M3 *CHEAP*

That's the thing, i've never seen a coupe with 4 electric windows...but cabby's...does anyone here have a 4 buttoned coupe, i'd like to see how the rear windows work since mine flip out....

    E30 M3 *CHEAP*

I have my suspicions about that being a genuine M3 It only looks like it's a 323 cabby that's had some M3 panels thown on EDITED: Okay, am I seeing things or does that "two door coupe" have a centre consol with 4 sets of electric window buttons, does anyone else think that's odd???
  19. Carl

    Do M3 wing mirrors

Buy a newer model car, the one with the electric fold in mirrors, that'll make life easier or you.

    Muffler

Why didn't I think of that, do it Mike, it's in good condition too Might drop by and say hello later tonight Glenn, perhaps kick a tyre or two aswell

    Muffler

I cut out a cat and stuck in two coby's which made a hua of an improvement but your gains won't be as significant since a cat is infinately more restrictive than a muffler. The gains really depend on what your muffler is that you're thinking of cutting out. If it's a stocker from a muffler place then you'd get more gains than if it were a free flow or something. Coby's will of course give it more of a throaty burble and if that's what you want then go spend $200 at Tuffy's Auto Centre in Lower Hutt for a two coby's muffler replacement - it's worth it but be sure to inform your insurance company after you do it.
  25. Add your name to the list of people wanting a copy of Ian's (Hartge) headers. Not only will this solve your crack addiction but you'll also gain a few horsies and a harem of newtons in the process :pimp:
