Long time no update.. ...after the show n shine I finally decided to dye the carpet. Found all this (minus the screwdriver) under the drivers seat rail, I had wondered why the seat didn't move back very far. Before and after pics: Final product is darker irl...quite happy with how it turned out. Anyone know what that wire coming out from under the drivers seat is? You can kinda see my awesome E36 window switches and semi new steering wheel too Shifter and hand-brake boots are next in the to-do list.

I chopped up a spare harness and rewired hah, there's probably a simpler solution though. Check with a multimeter where the break is, strip the wire and reconnect perhaps??

I moisturised my leather last night Seriously though, Mother's leather cleaner and conditioner = awesome. Also coloured some scratches with blue shoe polish.

Check the wire connection between the headlight wire and the harness, also the plugs into the back of the headlight. If you've been pulling them out a lot they'll get loose and the connection will break, I know from experience
