  1. Made me chuckle too, I'm pretty sure I got the very first of the E87 android headunits in my car. Manufacturer wanted to send me a reversing camera add on for free if I made a video about it, reply was its a hatchback and my man card would be put in jeopardy.
  2. As far as Im aware, its across whole model range. LCI cars can have e-LSD coded as factory option, its sh*t.
  3. Not an M car = No LSD option from factory, as stupid a decision as that was.
  4. 125's occasionally pop up, same basic engine as a 130 just detuned to not make stock 135s look slow (its only software) on the forecourts, and coupe body. I suspect pricing will remain fairly static, 135s are enthusiasts cars... probably get 2 groups of buyers - those who dont know what theyve bought and then suddenly get slapped with repair bills, and the enthusiasts where logic goes out the window when it comes to gas prices etc. 130 Vs 135 pricing is weird, 130s are awesome undervalued which makes them great buying (likely due to the odd styling, and people thinking a 120 is the same thing). 130s are way rarer than 135s, I saw something like 60k 135s produced Vs 14k 130s. Havent seen 125 numbers, but suspect rarer again. If you are not specifically after a N54 and going silly fast, I wouldn't overlook a 123d, manual one would be rocking horse sh*t but they do exist and would be great little car. 2c.
  5. Cleaned them all up, lots of leather conditioner. Gave the rails a bit of a spruce up (they are Recaro E87 rails, which is cool). Also drove over the Kaimais today in torrential rain, lots of standing water on road. Tyres arent even a little bit sketchy in the wet, work fine.
  6. Bunch of parts are common between US 128/328/330 and 130s, not really too much of an issue other than LHD/RHD. I dont think they got many diesels in the US though, so will be harder.
  7. Will post pics when they are arrive, I'm dubious for the price, but who knows... sometimes ya luck out https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003627350571.html
  8. The clamp is onto a plastic quick disconnect.
  9. I have a full load of cooling system hoses (and a new rad) sitting here if you want one fast (I just ordered Realoem.com...), just replace it with the ordered one when it arrives.
  10. Anyone seen an E8/9x wreck with heated seats anywhere? I wanna lop me off some connectors.
  11. Face like a dropped pokemon
  12. Hired another one in welly last week, heaps of fun for a rental, did a big snakey (with traction on....) getting onto the motorway via a very short wet uphill onramp Cost $30 more to rent than a Mitsi ASX. Will be curious to see what happens to the values of these in next few years
  13. I got the whole B1 kit with quaife for like 3k landed.
  14. New little project, give them a good clean and birthday step 1. Lucked out and the drivers side is the rocking horse sh*t SP-DC top of the line electric everything version.
  15. Looks like a nice manual one. Ive never heard of a N52 headgasket failing before (other than the ones running boost) https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/130i/listing/3615173923
  16. Auction ended at $1400, which is good, as its what my mental limit was set to and the other guy backed off 1410 and he woulda had em....
  17. Pulled the tardme pin on these, look to have recaro mounting brackets etc from what I could see, dont look too out of place in an E87, plus air lumbar, heating, and ass cooling fans. Oddball JDM recaros, look to be aftermarket only - SP-JC. Cert to install them doesnt look too tricky, removing airbags being the main hurdle. Rest looks fairly legit. The car they are installed in is a bog standard poverty pack prelci 120 wreck.
  18. Bimmergeeks Protools, does everything ISTA does + more. OP - I honestly wouldnt waste time with any of the others, unless you want to look at ISTA/INPA etc go get the bimmergeeks bluetooth OBD2 doofa and the app, its easily worth the price. You'll do what I did and have 5 OBD2 doofas sitting on the shelf that never get used, as the bimmergeeks one just works and does more.

  21. Wow, looks stunning! Other than the M badge. only 60,000km... poor neglected thing
  22. Nope, the 130i one is a GS6-37BZ - rated to 370Nm, the ratios and box are shared with early Z4 3.0Si (think the later ones are shorter geared). 320i is a GS6-17BG... presumably to 170Nm??... and is used in the 4 pots 1-5 series.
  23. Yup according to vin should have heated sports seats. Looks like its had some butchery done, trim panel covering centre console bolts missing etc as well. (Plus it just looks sticky! haha). Would be good buy if can get it cheap.
  24. @Sammos old E46 down the viaduct this morning, still looks stunner. New owner is looking after it
