  1. Decided I like em. ET38 18x8.5 definitely about the sane limit with these tyres (235/40), maybe et35 and 225s would work if wanted to try push it. Gave it the mandatory B road blat, kinda scary not knowing where the limit actually is on the Falken RT615k+, particularly as the initial turn in grip on them is insane. Bit more noisey than RE003s but not night and day, but OMG does it feel like it wants to change directions quick, going to be fun tyres.
  2. Overwhelming urge to go hang a wheel off a sharp cliff edge whilst all crossed up.
  3. Its a drone/spaceship Was used for testing quadplane hybrid beta code last year - https://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/quadplane-support.html
  4. Yeah I like the ACS Type IVs too, Im being a weight weeny and want to start playing with it on track. Ill probably keep them in the corner. ACS Type IV 19x8.5 235/35/19 - RE003 - 24.86kg R5 18x8.5 235/40/18 - RT615K+ - 21.3kg 14.24kg of unsprung mass.... not insignificant.
  5. These might be even more polarizing than ACS Type IVs Flow formed, 900kg rated, right offsets and most importantly - available. Also some sticky rubber to suit. Will weigh them and compare
  6. These would all look good in my garage.
  7. That 2006 one looks like it got dragged out of fukushima, check out the plastics and the screen!
  8. Quick or the dead around this place - SOLD
  9. Need a clean up and respray to be nice, but useable as is. 2 have WOFable Nankang NS20 255/35 2 Tyreless 8x18 ET34 8.5x18 ET37 BMW E90/91 fitment $250

  11. NZ New and dirt cheap - https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/other/listing/3321369034?bof=czxQY6Pk For history sake DYD514
  12. SM10s are what Im looking at, bit scared of shipping delays/nightmare due to the current situation. Making it local companies problem seems to make some sense.
  13. Anyone bought Apex wheels through autoform before? I generally dont like buying sh*t thats not in stock, so a bit cautious
  14. Production numbers of 130s? You can filter out the NZ fleet from this - https://opendata-nzta.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/motor-vehicle-register-api/explore?filters=eyJNQUtFIjpbIkJNVyJdLCJNT0RFTCI6WyIxMzBJIl19 BMW 130i Production.xlsx
  15. Amazon TRW p/n for M3s LCAs, can often find them for dirt cheap.
  16. Looked up the vin for your 130, its standard hydraulic steering not EPS or active, there is no Msport rack, in fact its very likely has the exact same rack as your E91 p/n 32106777464 Tyres / Alignment / bad spring/damper rates etc? I have a 330 and 130, and they are different cars. 130 is way more hyper active and darty, 330i feels more planted and sure footed.130 will leave the 330 for dead on corners and in a straight line.
  17. Now we are getting somewhere, there is something weird happening with logging data rate via K+DCAN cable and android headunit (every 7ish seconds the rate fluctuates in the CSVs) , done via bluetooth and phone its looking much more like an N52 dyno and the numbers make sense.... its also very repeatable, will be better if I can find a smoother road. 226 whp
  18. TRW Ultras, never used them before so will find out. 130 has Brembo NAO ceramic pads and they seem really good.
  19. New ATE rotors, ceramic pads and fluid change.... after having to break out a 4 foot powerbar to get the wheelnuts undone (f**ken apes...)
  20. Its pretty mad in person, I actually think proportions are better than genuine E30 M3
  21. 1 of 196 2011's, look like Advan RS2s?... and luggage straps! https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/130i/listing/3292542749 edit - its actually a 2010 - WBAUD52080J012341
  22. Tried doing some "dyno pulls" yesterday, I think most of my problem is that 2nd gear (tops at just under 100) is too short to get enough data points, and is resulting in bogus numbers. Need to try third on a private road..... Dont really care about how accurate they are, as long as repeatable and scale properly. Also heard the beginnings of DISA rattle, its faint but there (they're original!)... instead of ordering new DISAs have ordered the repair kits for them both, which makes all the mechanics metal rather than stock plastic. Going to have time to kill..
