E34 "M5" with 540iA rego, on throwing stars with half red leather interior outside Takanini Mitre 10 today, had a few ACS goodies on it too. Members?

Go M52, purely as M50s are long in the tooth now, and I doubt there are that many nice ones lying around wreckers yards. In regards to wiring, there is a UK guy who made me a table of wiring to go between my old oddball E30 323 sport to an M50 for a paypal'd box of beers. Hit me up if you want his email addy, was very helpful with wiring Car X to engine Y.

Before they went broke the Xpower stuff was pretty out there. Factory option for nitrous and 1000bhp

Might be pre LCI but that top edge looks way thicker than the stock kidneys

As long as they are the right rims, it looks good. I guess its something to do with big gaurds and skinny tyres of the era that makes it look +10 with wheels that fill the gaurds better? I keep looking at E24s at the moment....

My old 944 tach was backwards too, had something to do with putting the redline point in an easily viewable spot between the steering wheel spokes and close to the speedo. -
Drove a new Holden Spark as a rental. Worst car Ive ever driven. Driving it is like sitting in a plastic lunchbox, not a good one, but one of those disposable ones that come in packs of 20 from paknsave. The CVT acts like there is a 50 foot rubber band between the engine and wheels. Its so, so bad. I was trying to pull out in traffic by jamming brake and accelerator to try take up some slack in the rubber band, but it still takes 3 seconds to wind up after planting the go pedal. Its so over sprung small bumps feel like they are going to throw you off the road, and there is so much castor in the steering that it tries to rip your hands off the wheel when straightening out. I cant believe someone signed off on this thing, and said "Yup, thats ready for sale". Who buys them? What is wrong with them to pay money for this? Holden would have been better off slapping their badge on a 1990 toyota starlet and selling it in 2019.

The naming conventions are going to get really really complex. Going to need a scientific calculator to work out how many doors these vehicles will have.

Now Ive got me a bare 77m2 garage, it needs lining and some flooring (and benches etc). Primary purpose will be for my business, which needs some decent benches and a computer. Ideally not epoxy/paint/thin carpet to help with insulation sound deadening. But the real purpose will be for playing with toy cars on.... What are my options? I saw some cool garage floor puzzle piece tiles awhile back and now im looking Im struggling, anyone got any suggestions? Similar to these but werent these ones http://www.swisstrax.co.nz/ Ideally DIY install, I can see it costing a crapload otherwise.

Cheers, she's going to be a lot of work, serious doeruper but solidly built. Wouldve been a slick yuppie house back in late 80s though, going to have to get an E24 to match the decor

As soon as I figure out how to get them past the wife. Trust me, first thing I thought: theres enough room for a twin post

77m2, so big enough to have some fun in!

There are a couple of cosworth mercs on tardme at the moment, look like an absolute bargain compared to E30 M3 prices.
