Should i trade my 2009 e92 325i to 2007 e92 335i?

That's my 335!! I just traded it on an M3. It is an awesome car. Well maintained and really fast. Has iPod interface, Bluetooth, auto dip headlights etc etc If you want to know anything about it, just ask me. -
I have heard that the 320d responds VERY well to a small chip upgrade. While not in 335d territory, it would probably still be a blast!
-
Both are bloody good fun. I owned a 335i and have had days in the 335d. No doubt that the 335d is astonishing - but when it comes to all out *fun* and throttle response - the petrol still has the edge. If you are in to fuel economy AND speed - the 335d is kick ass! The one thing the diesel doesn't get anywhere near is exhaust note. The diesel is boring - but hey, can't complain when 580 torques are pushing you around!

That looks like a nice buy. The e90 chassis benefits from 17+ wheels. That does have the basic es interior, which if you don't mind is still a nice place to be.

Maybe this helps a bit.... On the SE and ES front, they drive the same. I've been in both. (Actually, I owned a SE+MSport) Its all about the included options. The ES is the "base" option spec generally along the lines of a business spec. So you have manual seats, rear only parking sensors etc.. SE includes the ES spec and adds in more like rain sensing wipers, sometimes iPod and Bluetooth, better trim, electric front seats, parking sensors front/rear etc. It changes model to model - but simply SE>ES There is no full options online VIN decoder. When I was buying my M3, I tried everything online , but in the end emailed the dealer and they sent me back a full order spec. As for the 330d and 320d. Well, I have driven both and the 320d is the best value. It gives you fairly monster performance for a 2.0L engine. Yes, the 330d is no doubt faster - but for general use I found the 320d actually quite surprising. Of course, do check whether the 320d is the fl or pfl. The fl has 15kw more. I'm currently driving a loaner X1 2.0d which has the fl engine. It performs well and still gives 5.9l/100 driving around Auckland (I don't sit in traffic mind you)

Great car! Good to see another E9x here. Some members here are a bit touchy about the newer bimmers, but most are friendly!

E30 325 manual = 13.9 per 100 E92 335i auto = 10 per 100 E90 M3 manual = 13.8 per 100

The best M cars are the ones without V8s...(Yes, driven them all. The V8s are just a bit lazier than the hyper 4, 6s and the knuts V10) This one is going to be a blast. Here is a nice pic from BMW. Shows where they are thinking...

I've got the Beltronics STi-R built in with Blinders laser jammers. Picks up everything all the time. Patrol cars are using Ka band - the "new" digital speed cameras are back on K band (from what I heard) They do turn them off a bit - because all of a sudden I get swamped in Radar warnings...

I used to watch the racing back in those days - loved the variety of cars. I don't bother any more. Falcodores are the worst cars on the road. I'd rather a lada... Go the M3!!

This is the beginning of the end for casual laptops and the whole "general purpose" operating system idea we have been using for years and years. You will pick it up, swipe the screen, and it will be ready. None of this wake up from sleep, keyboards, mice, trackpads etc etc. If you browse, email, facebook, twitter, write blogs, small amount of Word Processing and spreadsheets, games, music, movies, photos - then this will fit perfectly. It is not the ultimate solution for the "gotta have it all" tech geek - but for a lot of people I know - this is going to cover a hell of a lot of bases - esp with 140,000 apps at $2 each which cover anything else you might want to do. Few issues like Flash support - but Apple are actively persuading the big sites to move to html5 (youtube already has this in place - http://www.youtube.com/html5 ) It represents a shift just like the iPhone heavily influenced how we think of smartphones (get away from those rubbish Nokias and Palms to Android and iPhones) - this will do the same.

I bought a Google Nexus One and love it. The GUI is not as refined as the 3G and 3GS I have - but it is quite geeky. We are now developing apps for Android full time too. I bought mind from here http://www.einfo.co.nz/shop/product_info.p...oducts_id=17151

1986 EA Ford Falcon: My father's car. Had the worst handling of any car on the planet. HUGE body roll in the corners. Eventually blew a head gasket after 18 months from new. Crap (but it is an aussie car, so it figures) 2008 Audi S5: Overrated V8 junk. Buttons everywhere, no steering feel, 4wd you can't turn off, bad fuel econony for the power it puts out, no rear passenger leg room. Handing was VERY average for the class of car. 197x Holden Torana with a 350 chev in it: My god - what a hatchet job. My mate owned it - we used to hoon around the backroads near Dargaville. Handled like utter crap, holes in the floor, leaked petrol, steering barely worked and the brakes were shite for a 350 chev powerplant. -
Please please kill it Ford. And then lets hope like hell the Holden go under too. Both of those cars are embarrasing. Bathurst has been shite since they went falcodore only.

errr, I've got a couple of companies which I own...each one gets used every day.

or in my case, the iPhone gave me back some time....

The 3G and even the old original can record video using an app called "Showtime" from Polar Bear Farm.

I'm a phone app developer and have phones all over the place. I've got iPhones, a Google Android phone, Motorolas (somewhere) and the like. I used to be a Nokia lover. Now all I see is a dying whale. You will buy one because that is what you are used to - its a habit which the world will kick. Their OS is outdated and just old school. Dead. iPhone is easy to use, powerful, but has that wank factor for people who have stupid ass taste in apps. Generally the choice of apps on an iPhone is a reflection of the owner - not of the phone. Google's marketplace has the same idiot apps too - and the same useful apps. Battery life is average, reception is average (unless you are on XT - then it is great. I've got one iPhone on Vodafone and the other on XT. Android phone is on 2degrees) Android phones are pretty kick ass - but they are more difficult to operate than the Nokias and iPhones. I'm running the HTC G3 Hero at the moment - awesome bit of kit. You just have to have a geeky mindset to get the most out of it. Much easier to get the same tasks done on the iPhone. In the end - if you want a basic 1990s phone - get a Nokia. If you want a phone with more - decide between the iPhone and Android. The rest are dead.
