part 7 is a common part that wears out , have replaced a few of these over the years in e28 e34 etc. when you remove them you can feel the play in the universal also the bottom balljoint on the track rod(centre drag link) get a lot of play in them .

cracks in the rubberized paint , nothing to worry about. probably spilt oil .

I have a large 3.91 lsd from my e28 , gears came from a e32 or e34 etc . lsd and case from e28 diff setup by kayne . may sell for the right price.

a bit of playing around this afternoon , test fitting e46 sport seats into the e24 the front holes line up , but seat is not quite centred to the steering wheel ( you e30 e36 guys will know all about this std feature in your cars) so I think since I have to make plates so the back holes have somewhere to mount I might as well put the seat in the correct centred postion about 30mm over to the outside might make a few plates to suit e28 ,e24 e30 etc fro e36 or e46 seats etc. but they are so much more comfortable than the std flat rubbish seats that came std with the car.

grey e28 carpet test fit into empty e24 shell. got most of a black interior sorted , door cards , seats , rear headrests , centre console replacement crack free dash. just need to redye 2 parts and get some adaptors made so I can fit some black leather e46 sport coupe seats in . fitted fog lights back in fixed a few other little things inside . got some replacement bumper chrome parts to sort out the scabby front bumper. incl one new corner section I had in stock and a replacement rear bumper that's not so bent etc manual gearbox kit sitting and waiting to go in need to work on the suspension and brakes too . also looking for a nice condition mtec steering wheel corse spline type , can swap for a later fine spline type if need be

looking for a earlier corse spline mtec one steering wheel etc for a 85 635csi have later mtec fine spline type that can trade if needed or could be some other type like alpina , hartge etc I also have momo's with boss kits etc thanks brent

worked on the 635csi today swapped the electric seats out to working and sleightly less stuffed manual ones, fixed the non returning wipers , new wiper motor fitted fog lights back in cleaned the wheel arches out ,looked like 29 years of crap in there put the staggered style 32's back on 235/45-17" fronts and 255/40-17" rears took the silly mudflaps off cut the stupid turned down exhaust tips off

have 3.07 and 3.15 med diffs for sale .

bump , stripping shell down now , guards and doors gone has nice mint sunroof panel , bonnet nose cone front and rear bumpers suspension auto trans zf 4hp22eh 3.07 large case diff abs system. clear rust free sills and floor etc can do front or rear cuts , also have some new chrome wheel arch extensions

just got this in today as it is sorry haven't cleaned it yet , no time be quick before I do and put the price up 2001 728i double vanos 2.8L 5spd trans 260k's 18" style 32's wide screen tv unit sports steering wheel wof just run out reg will do in next week . will need some work and a good clean etc done lots of open road driving from mid nth island to Auckland etc but could be quite a good car when sorted in papakura 021433600 may sell wheels separately with exchange of suitable wheels 16" or bigger . also clear corner lights etc.

puke is great , a bit more of buzz than the other tracks . just pick the right driving line.. we often do these open testing days , lots of fun
