why dont you park it on a hill , get some one to hose it down , sit inside , pull the interior light box out and the sunroof switch panel and have a look to see where it drips in , maybe use a torch so you can see.

BM WORLD replied to Creaver's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
yup been there too . fitted a aftermarket head unit that has a radio power ant output and also a amp power output . both blue , wondered why i had sound with the radio and no sound from the cd or usb harddrive etc . -
no i mean a gap in the sealant where the glass is stuck to the frame , not the outside trim bits .. but most likly you sunroof basin overflowed
-
as above . but also have seen some where they have had a gap in the windscreen sealant which allows water to leak in
-
you might want to think about doing a 2.5L M20 while your at it . not a lot more work realy .

ah the glory days when real men raced cars with beards and big wiskers
-
you can always use a grinder and then replace the torx bolts with wood screws and putty etc like some people do

should have power when the radio is switched on (not the ignition) , so normally wired to the switched output for the aerial power (blue wire from a aftermarket radio) -
you need star drives for the gaurd also 8 and 10mm for front , rear and under the wing. 10mm for the door hinge pin , a hammer and shape pair of pillers to pull the door jam pin up . 7mm socket for the door loom plug . and about 3-4 hours and lots of other tools to swap all the bits over from your old door to a new door

not the ring , but some good racing . e28 m5 vs e36 m3 . both highly tunned race cars in the wet . m5 just keeps pulling away. part 1 part2
