i have one with some wear in it , you can get them rebuilt at franklin cams in pukekohe .i also have a complete , excellent 2L engine from a nz new 320i you could buy for $500 or offer me enough and i might sell bits off it . whats the millage on your motor .

here's the deal . the 1992 730i 3L V8 approx 155-160Kw 5spd auto . has done 186000km ex singapore . grey with tidy black leather electric seats . nice wood trim etc . all electrics are working (stereo could do with some looking at) has std 15" alloys . is missing front lower left hand corner off the front apron . has both high beam lights cracked .and left fog light also cracked. will have reg on hold . brake pabs worn in front . now the engine runs and drives well but is a little rough at idle and looks like the headgasget is blown . browny water and oil .needs a new battery and some bulbs ,lower boot carpet is missing . body work is ok a couple of samll parking dents and the clearcoat on the bonnent needs a cut . now i could do some of the small things like bulbs ,carpet , stereo ,pollish etc . but i have not much spare time . so make me a resonable offer on it . The 1989 735iL 3.5L 208 kw ,long wheel base ,extra 4-5" longer than std exjapan . done 229000km .is greyish , with black leather electric seats . the engine doesn't go i think also blown headgasget ? just turns other tries to fire sometimes ,but wont run . a small crack in sump ( i just did it with the trolly jack moving it around ).the 2 front seats have a bit of a twist in the backs ( a common prob ,can be fixed , info on the net on how to fix) the back seat has some marks on them , the woodgrain trim is a bit faded.body wise ok , a few small parking dents .has std 15" alloys .some bulbs need replacing , catalist come flashing up in the display ( i think catalitic convertor is stuffed maybe) no stereo . reg will be on hold. now i do have a spare engine lying about and spare leather seats and a stereo etc availble for extra $$$ . so make me an offer on it . ph 021433600 or 09-2997389 will put on trade etc latter , but will give you guys first option

yea it runs , but how good . (a little smoke ) hasn't been run for about 6-11mths so when i get the keys i will take for a good drive to clean out the cobwebs . the guy nether paid a cent on the finance .they chased the car for about a year before getting it .the m30 i think might be junk . i think it might have had a blown headgasget and the last owner just kept topping up the water and kept on cooking it . has spark but very wet plugs(fuel) , very pitted and looks like water condensation on 1 or 2 of them . couldn't get a decent compression reading on a couple of the cylinders , looks like oil/water leaking out between the head and the block. will have a closer look when i have some time .

the 730i v8 ,will probably get that sorted out wof ,reg clean etc . not sure with the 735iL might need a new engine (which i happen to have sitting around) but not sure if i have the time or the want to do it.

its not much higher than what it is sitting at when towing .

V8's had wider grills ,same as e34 5series

i gave you guys plenty of time . did have a smack in the front left corner ,though not to bad

just finished pulling apart the e30 320iA . and had the boys from bobs take it away car services and send it to the great melting pot . what a shame it didn't have any rust on the body . picked up two E32 7 series today . one 1989 735iL grey ex japan , black leather etc . and a 1992 730i V8 ex singapore gray ,black leather etc . both repo's no key's . I started the V8 . and the 735i doesn't go (maybe headgasget). towed both cars behind the 88 535i 5spd . trailer about 300kg plus 1600kg approx per car . my car is rated to tow 1500kg braked . the first car i towed had no problem . went back to pick up the 735i and had the brakes on the trailer jamming on ,had lots of smoke then fire comming from the brakes .lots of fun .

it mounts in the plastic panel up under neth to the edge of rightside of glovebox right on the edge . some time the siwtch breaks off a bit of plastic

cheap leather interior . nice condition you get the door trims , carpet , parcel tray if you want . $400..for the lot ....cash .. improve the look of you e30 , replace that tied old cloth interior . also set of 5 14" alloys bottle caps with good tyres most 70-80% tread .$250 ... good 2L engine with all the bits . done 198000km nz car , well looked after . runs really well , no deaf tick like most of the ones i hear . $550 complete . one back left door mint no rust $100 . good boot lid with spoiler $150 . good rear bumper $100 . tow bar $80 with wiring . good tail lights $90 each . heaps of electrical parts , dashboard and console bits . good sunroof panel no rust $120 . good instrament cluster all works ok , $100 . radiator good nick $80 set of shocks front or rear incl springs $120 a pair also other bits from e28 525i ,528i ,e34 535i and e23 735i ph 021433600 or 2997389a/h .
