sorry just std leather seats , look in resonable condition ,will post some more pics when i pick up the car . sorry guys missed the M325i sold for way to much (you guys wouldn't pay too much for the parts in that car)

its a 86 E30 320iA , has head small ding infront left corner . all other parts should be ok .its got cream leather seats . good tyres and wheels , small rubber boot spoiler .tow bar etc . just email me if you need anything ,[email protected] or 021433600 . also have E28 1985 528i and a E23 1984 735iA which i am pulling apart .

Leak in radiator a cause of increased engine temp?

small hole in radiator will release pressure from system which will in turn lower boiling point temperature and raise the temp in cooling system . -
jap imports made in South africa (i have one) i also have uk import (no real rust probs) nz new is best though . my uk import has lsd my jap import does'nt . nz new should have lsd . singapore cars have all the rubbers cooked from the heat from the road and sun . find a good nz new model dont worry about the millage most likly had lots of money spent on servicing .

i have a good 2.5 m30 head .same as 2.8 m30 head . same size valves as 3.5 m30 e28 head just different shape combustion chamber shape

this head was recently redone . i get the headgasget set from euro marketing or euro-italia (they import the stuff ,valves ,pistons ,gasgets ,rings etc ) between $160 and $280 depending on brand . not doing new bolts this time . talked to a few guys ,they say not nessasary for M30 block .yes thanks for the use of the manual . must send that back to you (with the parts you wanted). dont worry i have it in the box . i use photo copies in my garage .

you want a 2.7 block (longer stroke) .2.5 pistons (matches head shape)and a 2.5 head(bigger valves) 2.5 ecu ,manifold etc to get more power ..you might have to machine groves in pistons for valve clearances (depending on which pistons the 2.5 had)

that car came to nz from uk damaged (heavy frontal i think). and the guy could't afford the repairs done to it , so the panel beatter had to sell it ,sleightly unfinished . been sold 2 or more times since then .probably all good now .what a bargain.

cost me a little ,but i always sell old parts to off set the cost . or buy some other cars to do up and sell to pay for my expensive hobby. and also costs me wife/children time (very bad)... -

go to the link http://forums.mye28.com/e28/messages/159548.html pulled the head off this donar euro spec 735i for the 1986 M535i . head looks like its been reco'd at some stage . photo's 17 to 24 on the webshots link. i did a compression check B4 removing . all cylinders came up to 190lbs quickly except number 1 which read 90lbs . when i put some oil into cylinder it also came up quicker to 190lbs. talk to a mechanic he says most likly rings stuck in piston and to take it for a long drive . when i pulled the head off . all look pretty good . except the No.1 exhaust valve has small crack in it . maybe the pressure is being lost there . also the plastic rings that are on rocker shafts . the same one had broken off ,so the rocker arm was sitting over to one side and hitting the edge of the top of valve stem . got to use my new hoist to to lift the head complete with manifolds off the block . block also looks quite good . might use that block instead of the the one in the m535i . swapping the E23 camshaft for a e28 one i have . getting to lobes rebuilt and repolished . the other photo's you see in the web page are of a destroyed E28 535i engine . worn camshaft ,broke valve head off . i run 2 amps and a crossover off my remote wire from the head deck and no popping when turned on . check you have good earths . dont run main power cables next to rca cables and dont turn the gain up to much (under half)

just do a worked 2.7 m20 engine , keep the car balanced and get about 200HP . heaps of mucking around to change to a heavy M50 block . or do the 335 conversion 218HP been done lots of time .

is anyone here interested my 1988 grey 535i ex UK .180000miles . i will be selling some time in the future . i am removing current engine and manual box and associated clutch,pedals bits etc , putting std suspension in to it (i do have some spare lowering springs availible) std black leather seats with electric front ones .removing hartge body kit suppling raised rear spoiler and black rear bumper. and can supply std e34 535i engine and auto trans with bits , swapping 17"alloys for 15" . remove stereo equipment ,supply std tape deck and speakers . if anyone is interested in this just drop me an email make an offer .
