http://www.warrantydirect.co.nz Been referred to these guys. Does anyone know anything of them or has anyone used them before & had to make a claim? They're very cheap. Quoted $500ish for a 12 month warranty on an 04 Mazda 6
-
Unfortunately not. Probably going to be a Mazda 6, Ford Mondeo station wagon, that kind of thing. Have purchased a computer company in Dunedin & need something to suit.
-
Porsche: SOLD Yup, selling the VW aswell on my wifes parents TM account.
-
PM Me your address & I'll return with my bank account details
-
Thats cool Yuen when would you like the car delivered to your address?
-
Couldn't have put it better myself. One thing for sure is that the Ferrari race cars don't use normal road car fuel at any rate, don't they use like jet fuel? 100% octane?
-
Isn't shaping up to be a good looking unit at all. One thing for sure is that it will be one of the fastest devaluing cars money can buy.
-
Just to clarify, it's not actually a CD Changer, it's a CD holder
-
It's a very clean & tidy example of an excellent little car. Accelerating around corners is a gimme. But with most Porsches, & I know it sounds dumb but you need a full tank of fuel or atleast above half a tank which gives a better weight distribution. Makes the font a little heavier & stops any understeer.
-
Not too sure Yuen. The NZ new ones I drove before that were all like that from memory. Perhaps the Jap import ones are different? One I did drive had cup holders there & a small parcel shelf in there instead of the CD holder.

btw, do you have to have a pre-inspection for the warranty at all do you know?
-
Thanks JJS. I'm pretty sure it has been covered at some stage aswell Will wait a few days & see what is posted here and then go from there. Thanks

I know AA does these with an AA check (probably to just earn more money) Just wanting to know if anyone here has purchased a warranty after purchasing a car privately & how much they paid e.t.c. I know this can be done, but would be interested to know who they went through & what the costs were per year e.t.c. Cheers

Obviously the same engine as the X5 3.0d Friend of mine has this which I actually used as our wedding car. I've also driven the 3.0d and can say that it goes better than alot of cars I've driven. They're simply awesome. I'm pretty sure the 330d that we see here in NZ has the same spec as the X5 which is 170kw & a mountain 500nm of torque. 500nm is Mercedes V8 petrol territory & in a car that weighs about as much as a shoe, you'd see that traction control light on quite often from the lights! I was told by the BMW dealer a few months back that the 330d is going to get the same engine as the new X5 which is the twin turbo diesel unit which will be 560nm & 200kw!!!!!!! Thats amazing considering it will average 8l/100km lol!

Nice looking E36 you have there. Welcome
-
WOW!!! Thats amazing, has the car had any major work done at all? Very impressive!
-
Oh bugger, he'd be gutted. 100k + offroad is an iffy thing! Me wife spewed when she seen the footage of the truck stuck, cause it was that deep, the water was at the top of the wheels, I had to climb out the sunroof to get out! Otherwise the truck would have instantly turned into an aquarium the instant I opened the doors.
-
Hahaha! Nah, not quite yet. Unless your offering good money & a beer?
-
Yeah, with a reserve of $1800. It was extremely cold outside when I was outside with her, so I just wanted to test the car & think about it overnight. Not sure this car is the one I'm after to be honest.
-
Ok, went to have a look at the first one. Was quite tidy outside, however inside was another story... Was a little on the rough side to say the least & she wanted 2k for it lol.... Thoughts?
-
Ya don't Nah, the water was very very clear, where the spots started to look & appear green is where you didn't drive = too deep. Mud unfortunately gets into every crevice, hole & stuffs the underneath of the vehicle (dirty) Not an attractive look to the next purchaser lol.
-
Performed great, loads of power & probably loads of fuel consumption... Just so nervous having it offroad though. I've had plenty of 4WD's before but none worth the caliber of this unit.
-
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Comedy Central! Give that up 318 and you'll have money for repairs on the E60
